The Crime wont stick: Bonnie Jonas-Boggioni, 65, of Plano, Texas, was heading home from her mother's funeral in Ohio when she was pulled over by not one, but two police cars near Memphis, Tenn. "Knowing I wasn't speeding, I couldn't imagine why," the Ohio native said. "What are you doing with a marijuana sticker on your bumper?" one of the officers asked. Shocked, Jonas-Boggioni explained that the sticker didn't depict a seven-leaf marijuana plant, as the officer supposed, but rather the five-leaf Buckeye plant: the Buckeye Leaf has been the symbol of the Ohio State football team the Buckeyes since 1967. "He looked at me like I was speaking a foreign language," she said. Her husband pointed to his shirt, commemorating the team's 2002 nationalchampionship season, which also sports a

Buckeye leaf. The officer explained another officer had reported the car, and figured the sticker meant the car was carrying drugs. "It's just amazing they would be that dumb," Jonas-Boggioni said, noting she was "too rattled" to have noted what department the officers were from. Before they let her go, the officers advised her to take the sticker off her car. "I said, 'You mean in Tennessee?' and he said, 'No, permanently.'" She refused. "This little old lady is no drug dealer," she said. (RC/Columbus Dispatch) ...In other news, some cops still think a statement made with a car sticker is a legal reason to pull you over The long memory of the law: Robin Hall, 40, is married, has two kids, and works in jet-engine design in Connecticut, but she wasn't always that respectable. "Back in 1991," she said, "I shoplifted cigarettes from Walmart." After 22 years, Hall went back to Florida for a Disney cruise vacation. When the ship returned to port, "I was pulled aside and told I had a warrant." It was for failing to pay $85 in court costs related to her shoplifting case, and the authorities had found it when checking the passenger list "for terrorists." So Hall was tossed in jail -and kept there over the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday weekend so that she could be transferred to the right county before being allowed to post bail. (AC/WESH Orlando) ...What use is a "terrorist check" that isn't run in time to arrest someone before the boat leaves? Curses foiled again: It is now illegal in Colorado to wear aluminum underwear. "This is serious business," insists State Sen. Stephanie Takis, who sponsored the bill. "We have laws against using crowbars as theft devices, but if you were lining your underwear with aluminum foil, that was not a crime." It is now. Apparently, shoplifters found such so-called "iron pants" allow them to sneak stolen items past anti-theft scanners at store doors. The law also allows store security officers to detain people who "crackle when they walk," but provides an exception for aluminum britches worn for "personal amusement." (Colorado Springs Gazette) ...Which is probably covered under vice statutes

When the going gets tough, the Brits go cruising More and more of Globelink’s clients are turning to cruises, and we’re delighted to cover them under the terms of our standard travel insurance policy. In fact, 1.76 million of us are expected to take an ocean cruise holiday this year. That’s 2% more than last year, and more than twice as many as a decade ago. That shouldn’t come as a surprise when you consider what remarkable value cruises offer, with accommodation, meals and entertainment all included in the package. And all of that with a minimum of packing and unpacking, as yet another exciting destination sails into view... Cruises were once seen as the preserve of mature travellers who liked to dress for dinner every night. These days, the average passenger is under 55 and there are almost as many cruise types as there are kinds of passenger. Adult-only cruises offer the ultimate in sophisticated getaways.

Multi-generation cruises cater for all the family, from Playstation-mad children with energy to burn, through to granddads who want to sharpen up their putting skills, or get expert tuition on how to work their iPads. Theme cruises have gone from strength to strength. Book one, and you’ll wonder why you bothered packing those paperbacks. Many mainstream cruises now provide classes on everything from history, antiques or painting to salsa dancing or the art of chocolate-making. Whatever your interest, you’re sure to find something that floats your boat. That value for money extends to whatever level of cruise you opt for. If you splurge on a boutique cruise, you’ll experience a degree of luxury that many upmarket hotels would envy. Another advantage of smaller ships is that their itineraries often take in lesser-known ports that score high on charm. before you go. Remember, If you live in Spain your Travel Insurance might be invalid if it does not cover the entire duration of your return trip from the date you leave Spain until the date you arrive back in Spain. If you really want to leave the crowds behind, a river cruise - on the Amazon, the Mississippi, the Yangtze - offers an original alternative.

Closer to home, Round-Britain cruises are an unexpected hit of recent years, proving what most of us suspected all along: that you don’t have to go to the ends of the earth to enjoy amazing heritage and coastal beauty. Many operators offer short taster cruises which can be appealing for first-timers. But with so many cruises available, it makes good sense to speak to a specialist travel agent who can steer you through the options, and find the cruise that’s just right for you. Even with the best planning, though, the unexpected can happen. A missed transfer, and the ship leaves without you. A cruise that has to be cut short when a close relative falls ill back home. Wise travellers take out travel insurance cover, but even they can be caught out. Unlike Globelink, some insurers exclude cruises from their standard travel insurance policies - which means you could end up paying a hefty premium for adequate coverage For an instant quote and to arrange cover securely online, enabling you to print your policy document immediately, by visiting www.globelink..co.uk or you can telephone on 00 44 1353 699082 or their Spanish links line on 966 265 000 or 951 242 434.

The way we will be able to watch UK TV is changing, with the Free to air channels moving from their current satellite sometime in 2013 to a satellite that will not provide coverage to all areas of Spain. Therefore, anyone watching sky channels e.g. BBC, ITV, Channel 4 /5 etc. via Satellite will lose without question, these channels within Spain even if you have a fully paid up Sky account in the UK. Consequently what can you do to continue watching these channels after they switch off the Satellite? Read on. As most of you would have already seen, there has been a recent explosion in the number of companies who are selling IPTV services. With the use of a Set Top Box you can watch UKTV direct to your TV with channels automatically being recorded and accessed at any time for up to 14 days after the program has been shown live. We have been supplying LIVE IPTV for a number of years now to the Scandinavian community, and now we are very glad to inform everyone that Wifi

connect have the IPTV.UK in place also working with our already recognized IPTV system across Spain and 20 other countries. Also included in the service is a 14 day catch-up pack so you don’t miss out on the programs you don’t get home for. There are different offers tailoring to your personal needs and pricing to match. In the coming months more special offers will be advertised, but note our screen quality will always be HIGH. An internet connection is required to a 3mb speed for any IPTV channels to work correctly despite what you may have heard people saying that 1 & 1.5mb connections will work. Wificonnect has more experience in this field than anyone else and have tested most of the internet providers, as well as our own service. The Quality of our IPTV system is recognized as one of the best around producing HD channels as well. If you wish to view our service before purchasing the system this can be arranged for you in Fuengirola. There is a demonstration IPTV.UK and BOX.TV system in a nice Restaurant and one of our representatives will help you understand how it works. You can choose your language IE: Danish – Norwegian – Swedish or English. Please see our advert regarding Internet and IPTV solutions, and if you need advice please feel free to call or email us with your enquiry. Someone will be on hand to help.

Lithuania Area: 65,300 km2 Population: 2,979,000 Capital City: Vilniusguage, Currency: Lithuanian litas Official language: Lithuanian, National sport: Basketball Lithuania, officially the Republic of Lithuania is a country in Northern Europe, the largest of the three Baltic states. It is situated along the southeastern shore of the Baltic Sea, to the east of Sweden and Denmark. Initially inhabited by fragmented Baltic tribes, in the 1230s the Lithuanian lands were united by Mindaugas, who was crowned as King in 1253. After his assassination in 1263, pagan Lithuania was a target of the Christian crusades of the Teutonic Knights and the Livonian Order. Despite the devastating century-long struggle, the Grand Duchy of Lithuania expanded rapidly, overtaking former Slavic principalities of Kievan Rus' creating the first unified Lithuanian state. By the e nd of the 14th century, Lithuania was

one of the largest countries in Europe and included present-day Belarus, Ukraine, and parts of Poland and Russia. In 1385, the Grand Duke Jogaila accepted Poland's offer to become its king. Jogaila embarked on gradual christianization of Lithuania and established a personal union with Poland. Lithuania, was one of the last pagan areas of Europe to adopt Christianity. After two civil wars, Vytautas the Great became the Grand Duke in 1392. During his reign, Lithuania reached the peak of its territorial expansion, centralization of the state began, and the Lithuanian nobility became increasingly prominent in state politics. Thanks to close cooperation, the armies of Lithuania and Poland achieved a great victory over the Teutonic Knights in 1410 at the Battle of Grunwald, one of the largest battles of medieval Europe. After the deaths of Jogaila and Vytautas, the Lithuanian nobility attempted to break the union, independently selecting Grand Dukes from the Jagiellon dynasty. But, at the end of the 15th century, Lithuania was forced to seek a closer alliance with Poland when the growing power of the Grand Duchy of Moscow threatened Lithuania's Russian principalities and sparked the Muscovite–Lithuanian Wars.

The Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth was created in 1569. As a member of the Commonwealth, Lithuania retained its institutions, including a separate army, currency, and statutory laws. Eventually Polonization affected all aspects of Lithuanian life From the mid-16th to the mid-17th centuries, culture, arts, and education flourished, fuelled by the Renaissance and the Protestant Reformation. During the Northern Wars (1655–1661), the territory and economy were devastated by the Swedish army. Lithuania was ravaged during the Great Northern War (1700–1721). The war, a plague, and a famine caused the deaths of approximately 40% of the country's population. Foreign powers, especially Russia, became dominant in the domestic politics of the commonwealth. Numerous factions among the nobility used the Golden Liberties to prevent any reforms. Eventually, it was partitioned in the latter part of the 18th century by the Russian Empire, Prussia, and Habsburg Austria.

The largest area of Lithuanian territory became part of Russian Empire. After unsuccessful uprisings in 1831 and 1863, the Tsarist authorities implemented a number of Russification policies. They banned the Lithuanian press, closed cultural and educational institutions, and made Lithuania part of a new administrative region called Northwestern Krai. The Russification failed owing to extensive network of book smugglers and secret Lithuanian home schooling. After the Russo-Turkish War (1877–1878), when German diplomats assigned what were seen as Russian spoils of war to Turkey, the relationship between Russia and the German Empire became complicated. The Russian Empireresumed the construction of fortresses at its western borders for defence against a potential invasion from Germany in the West. On 7 July 1879 the Russian Emperor Alexander II approved of a proposal from the Russian military leadership to build the largest "first-class" defensive structure in the entire state – the Kaunas Fortress.

With an extremely extensive menu, something you come to expect of Indian restaurants it adds that touch of quality that you find when the chef really knows what they are doing. The Restaurant is tucked away just off the central plaza in Torremolinos so it is sheltered from the meandering public which adds a nice secluded touch to the location. Dine outside in the daytime or come into the welcoming atmosphere of the main dining area and bar. “So what is different” I hear you say. Alcaucín is situated on the western slopes of La Maroma at the entrance to the Natural Park of the Sierras de Tejeda, close to the spectacular Zafarraya gap, where you can step out of Malaga and into Granada province! The approximate translation of Al Cautín, now Alcaucin is “the Arches” possibly named because of the aqueduct! At an altitude of 510 metres the village is approached either by driving up from Puente Don Manuel , across the valley through Venta Baja, or down from Zafarraya through Espino where the views are absolutely stunning, with the lower green mountains covered in pine trees, almond groves, vineyards and orchards, gradually rising up towards the rugged Boquete de Zafarraya which is often shrouded in cloud and the Colmenar ridge.

The village itself is typical of the area with narrow winding streets, whitewashed, sugar cube, stone houses and interior courtyards brimming with beautifully coloured flowers. On entering the village one of the first points of interest is the fountain with five jets of fresh mountain water inviting you to stoop down and drink!

Village life centres around the pretty town square now renamed the Plaza de la Constitución with its 18th Century Parish Church of Nuestra Señora del Rosario and theTown Hall. The earthquake on Christmas day in 1884 badly affected this village with loss of life as well as the destruction of property, roads and trails and the alteration of subterranean streams and if that wasn´t enough there was heavy snowfall that year preventing much needed help and assistance to the villagers.

There are several bars and restaurants which serve both local and international cuisine and from the terrace of Azafran Oasis (open Thursday through Sunday) you can admire the views of Lake Viñuela. The eight areas that make up this municipality are Puente Don Manuel, Los Morales, Los Cortijillos, Las Monjas, Venta Baja, Venta Alta, El Pilarejo and El Espino. When you have finished your tour of the village you can walk back down the Paseo de las Barriadas and take your pick of any one of the decoratively tiled benches, which bear the names of these areas, to rest a while . If strolling through the village hasn´t been exercise enough then why not take the challenge of reaching the highest point of the Axarquía by climbing to the top of La Maroma! Don´t forget you camera!

Katie Price & Kieran Hayler thank their fans for their support after pregnancy announcement February 25, 2013 She’s been married to Kieran Hayler for just over a month now but Katie Price is already carrying the stripper’s child. The happy news was announced yesterday in the tabloids by Katie, 34, who said that the pregnancy definitely wasn’t planned: “The baby wasn’t part of our plan at this stage but anyone who knows me knows I’m not one for sticking to rules and plans.” The former glamour model said at first her mother had been apprehensive about the news, however was reassured when she saw how great Kieran, 25, is with Katie’s three other children; Harvey (fathered by Dwight York), Princess and Junior (fathered by Peter Andre). It seems that the reaction from her Twitter followers was far more enthusiastic than her mother’s, because Katie took to Twitter to thank them for all for their kind words. “Thank you soo much for all the lovely messages xxxx” Her stripper/builder hubby was also keen to say thanks, tweeting: “Literally haven’t stopped smiling since we found out the News. Been hard to hide it. I am so excited. Thank you for all the nice messages. X” He then gave several other messages of thanks to individual followers and repeated again how excited he is. He’s not the only one – apparently Junior, Princess and Harvey can’t wait to meet their new baby brother or sister.

And the worst dress award goes to…. See the ugliest gown at the Oscars 2013 February 25, 2013 While the likes of Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain and Jennifer Lawrence have cause for celebration today after making it to the Oscars Best Dressed list (oh, and for winning some awards too) The fashion gurus have cast their eyes on their outfits and have deemed them to be the worst dressed celebrities at the awards which took place in Hollywood.

The fashion gurus have cast their eyes on their outfits and have deemed them to be the worst dressed celebrities at the awards last night, which took place in Hollywood.

Nicole Kidman in particular has taken a ravaging for her dress choice – a sequined, fishtail Balenciaga number with gold detail.

In our opinion however, Halle Berry’s was the worst of them all; she turned up in a structured Versace dress which looked like it had been borrowed from 1984 (and not in a good way). Halle Berry’s dress choice at the Oscars 2013 was thoroughly fug. Images: FameFlynet Helena Bonham Carter meanwhile looked like a crumpled up tissue in her gown (when doesn’t she look like that?) and Jennifer Garner missed the mark with her outfit.

The Byblos 2012: Hot Hot Hot summer in Spain, 2011 the ‘other’ half and I were doing a house sit in the Spanish countryside; consequently there was plenty of time to read the local English newspapers. It was with interest that I read an article about the Byblos, once an amazing Spanish hotel hosting such celebrities as Princess Diana and other famous people; now it seemed the hotel had fallen on hard times and finally auctioned off to the highest bidder , consequently the ‘Byblos’ had been sold to ‘Lord Alan Sugar’ The article went on to explain that Alan was losing patience, it had been three years since that purchase had taken place, court proceedings and appeals by the former owners meant nothing was happening! Now Lord Alan Sugar does not strike me as a patient man...... Although I had never heard of the ‘Byblos’ and had absolutely no idea where it was I had heard of Lord Alan Sugar so imagine my complete surprise when exactly one year later I found myself living in a Spanish house facing the Byblos hotel! Co-incidence or God-incidence? God has placed the Byblos on my heart. Re opening the hotel would benefit Mijas enormously and create much needed jobs for the community and beyond. I imagine Lord Alan Sugar is not a patient man; an ex employee at the auction was quoted as asking ‘When can we have our jobs back’ and Lord Alan Sugar was quoted as saying “In a couple of weeks” Three years later and Alan Sugar cannot be a ‘happy bunny’. Lord Alan Sugar is a person of action with a capital ‘A’ I can only imagine his frustration with this situation; he has plans to create jobs! Plans to help people get back to work! Plans to make a success of the Byblos and bring it back to life. Let’s all get behind Lord Alan Sugar with our prayers, let us not sit back while we wait for something to happen while a once beautiful hotel goes to rack and ruin!!, as Christians......’Let’s help make something happen’ God use’s people to bring about his purposes in our world; people who have passion, enthusiasm, commitment, get the picture? Imagine all those Spanish Christians crying out to God for jobs during a desperate time of recession. In the Book of Nehemiah we read the story of the re- building of the walls around Jerusalem; Nehemiah was so distraught concerning his ‘Home town’ when he heard the walls were broken and falling down, he wept fasted and prayed, then the king he served, on seeing his distress gave him

permission to take leave, go back home and help repair the city walls, he had the help and backing of the king of his day; God answered Nehemiah’s prayers, he softened a kings heart to achieve his plans and purpose, and so I believe the distress prayers and fasting of the Spanish people have reached the ears God. He is using another man of ‘influence’ to achieve his plans today. Jesus said when you ask for something in prayer you must believe that you receive that which you ask for. I am believing great things for the Byblos and Lord Alan Sugar.........There is no recession in God’s King dom, lets get behind Alan with our passion and prayers to see restoration and revival to a once beautiful hotel; Lets claim the ‘Byblos’ for the Kingdom of God. Tarot cards are a means of concentration for the psychic tarot reader. The cards in alignment with other cards change the entire reading, as does the position of the cards. I always use the Celtic cross spread and offer 20 card readings at my tarot parties, which are held in the comfort of YOUR own home with your family and friends. These parties were very popular in the U.K. I read for a maximum of 10 people per evening, or some people like to have a lunch time party. These last half an hour per person. I also offer 1 to 1 in-depth, 40 card readings at my place. These readings last an hour and offer more detail and further guidance. Tarot cards are made up of Major and Minor Arcana cards. The Major Arcana indicate big changes, whilst the minor indicate smaller issues. As a psychic I receive Clairvoyance which comes to me in the form of images, Clairsentience is an intuitive feeling and an inner knowing and Clairaudence is hearing, although its like a form of telepathy on an inner level. It may come as a song or a jingle playing round in my head, sometimes I receive a name, that just, "pops" into my head. I have been reading tarot now since the age of 19, over 35 years now. Over the years I have developed more and more psychically. I have read for many celebrity clients, but read in the strictest of confidence. I am also an author and soon will be writing my psychic book.

Hypnosis is very powerful, Hypnosis, just like words, has great power. The subconscious mind is a storehouse of thoughts, which trigger feelings and emotions. What we believe in childhood forms our foundation, our blueprint for living. We believe everything is "TRUTH" and form our belief systems. We are like a computer with data input. If the data is positive, we will have great self esteem.

Where the input is negative, this holds us back from achieving our true potential. If you have problems with alcohol or drugs then you have to take responsibility and first admit that you do have a problem. Only when you are ready, will you seek a solution. If you parents told you to eat everything on your plate, it is likely you have a problem with weight. Sometimes we eat more when we are really hungry, for love, not food. It is highly likely that a smoker has one or both parents who smoke. But, in reality, we know that smoking can"t be good for our health. Again, only when you are truly ready will you decide to STOP or seek help to stop. Our beliefs about life, about money, about love and relationships are all subject to the information we received as children. Now you are an adult, you can change those limiting beliefs that don"t serve you. What are you choosing to believe today? And, more importantly, do you want to change your limiting beliefs about yourself with the power of hypnosis, NOW! Karen, International Hypno - Analyst. and Tarotreader

It is difficult to believe that a month has passed since the last newsletter from the Theatre. I hope the nice New Year's Resolutions are still going strong but there is always chocolate to derail us. The theatre has started the New Year well. We began with the Panto which I must confess I didn't see -beaches in the Canaries being a distraction but I heard mostly very good things about it and it did well at the box office. In these difficult times that is very important and it does show that audiences are voting with their purses for our shows. This was followed by The Rat Pack and The Entertainers, both of which I did see and both of which I thoroughly enjoyed. Then came 'It Runs In The Family'. I can't say much about that but I am told there was one turn in the second Act that was particularly good!! Really though, David Vincent did a magnificent job in directing the play and playing the lead. It was a nice show to work on and I think demonstrates that if you can assemble a good cast the audience can have a good time. So financially things are looking up. We still operate on the margins but the future of the theatre seems secure for a good while yet. All we need is to keep the standards up, and there is some good stuff coming. This includes -way into the future - the

return of Calendar Girls, and I am proud to announce that the last production resulted in a donation of 325 pounds to blood cancer research. Don't forget you can keep right up to date by following our Facebook page and you don't need www.facebook.com/pages/The-Salon-VarietesTheatre/226730037375585 There is lots happening at the theatre - see you soon- Graham Cherry News from Mijas Bowls Club In house club competition for 2013 We have had wonderful weather for the clubs championships with the triples, pair’s, singles, men’s and ladies handicaps. It has been quite an event to organize, some unable to bowl because of illness or holiday. Roberto Wright needs our great thanks for all he has had to put up with and still be sane. Well done Roberto. The Triples final was between Kevin, Janice and Geoff, against Rob, Sue and John. It was a good match to watch as it was quite a close game for the first half, but by the 16th end the score was 1610. At the last end with a round of applause for both teams, Rob’s team won. It had been a long day for both teams with two games to play. The Pairs have been quite a good group to see as there have been some wonderful games that ended with very slim margins by one wood on the last end. In the final on a very windy day, it was Kevin and John against Alan and Chris. This was good to watch as it was quite windy, by the 11th end they were more or less equal but Kevin and John advanced to 23points, Alan and John 17 points by the 18th end. So Kevin and John are the doubles champions. The ladies singles saw some good matches but the final was between Ann Fenton and Pauline Ball. This was a lovely game and they were equal at half way. Then Pauline took the lead and Ann could not catch her. Pauline is our new lady Champion, well done for both ladies. In The Men’s single’s competition Frank Ball played Don Smith. In this match Don led from the start and Frank could not catch him, well done Don The Handicap Singles will be played a little later this month as time was short and it could not be fitted in on time. How do I get the shine back into my hair its so dull and flat? Bernie, Benalmadena There are a number of factors leading to why your hair loses its shine. The best way of keeping the shine is to have regular trims of the split ends coupled by oil or serum treatments before blow-drying. When blowdrying do not blast the hair , using a natural good quality brush to gently smooth out the tangles, take time when drying so as to not over dry the hair. Avoid metal combs and brushes as they can get hot and damage the hair. Finish by applying a serum spray to enhance that shine after drying.

My skin is dry and dull from the Winter can you advise on a facial treatment to give my face a healthy glow? Bernadette, Arroyo

A good cleanser and toner will help revitalise the facial skin. Use an ex-foliating cream or sponge to remove that winter layer. Use the cleanser and toner followed by an anti wrinkle moisturising cream with vitamin c once week. Find an "ointment" moisturiser that's oil-based, rather than water-based, as the oil will create a protective layer on the skin that retains more moisture than a cream or lotion. (Hint: Many lotions labelled as "night creams" are oil-based.) But choose your oils with care because not all oils are appropriate for the face. I use a spray tan but always end up looking streaky? Mary, Benalmadena Firstly it is very important to shave or wax the necessary bits at least 24 hours before applying the tan. It is also good practice to ex-foliate. Then after care is essential, it is important to moisturise to help it last. Visiting a salon to have it done will give you better results The Girls at Divas

Inheritance News from De Cotta Law Intestacy – dying without a valid will By De Cotta Law Valid wills The Spanish notarial system provides more security for those who make a valid will. This is because there is a Central Wills Registry where each notarial will is registered by the notary. The original will is always kept on the Protocol (archive) of the notary where you sign the will. The information at the Central Wills Registry will be the date and place where you made the will; your full name and date of birth and the names of your parents will assist with identifying you. A valid English will must be witnessed by two witnesses who are physically present when you sign. These witnesses should not stand to benefit from your will or be family members. However although wills can be registered in England there is no obligation to do so and most wills are kept at home or with the local solicitor in England who prepared them for you. Leaving Spanish assets in a will It is always advisable to execute a valid Spanish will before a notary if you own Spanish assets. The reason this is important is that property does not generally pass to your surviving spouse automatically in Spain. In the UK you can generally notify the Land Registry, the banks etc to transfer property into your sole name and in some cases where the estate is not of a high value no other formalities are required. If they are an application can be made for Letters of administration on intestacy. This is very different in Spain as the property passes independently to your appointed heirs and there is a procedure required to prove who should receive. Spanish law applies the law of your nationality to your estate. Therefore if you die leaving Spanish assets and have not made a valid will in either country your heirs need to prove firstly the law that should be applied on intestacy and secondly that they are entitled to inherit.

This applies to your spouse even though you may be joint owners of the assets. For some time we have been advising British nationals in Spain that it is wise to state the law you wish to be applied to your estate. While it would be difficult to overturn the application of your national law to your estate in wills made with this clause there will be added certainty in 2014. This is when the European legislation changes to state that you can elect the law to be applied to your succession and that this will be binding. The important thing to remember is that prevention is not only better than cure in this situation it is also less costly than cure.

Smokin' Hot Sauce! 2012 Darwin Award Nominee Confirmed True by Darwin 27 February 2012, North Carolina) "It was just a freak incident," said an investigator, that caused the death of 43-year-old Gary Allen Banning. Gary was at a friend's apartment when he spotted a salsa jar containing a mystery fluid. Thinking that it was an alcoholic beverage, he helped himself to a sizeable swig of gasoline! Naturally enough, he immediately spit out the offending liquid onto his clothes. Then, to recover from the shock, Gary lit a cigarette. Whoosh! Gas+Flame=Combustion. Firefighters responded to calls reporting a fire in the apartment, and found a badly burned man sitting on a charred carpet. The following morning, Gasoline Gary died at the UNC Burn Center in Chapel Hill. Two mistakes caused his death. The first mistake was minor: gulping a golden liquid

from a salsa jar. Although Darwin Awards editors feel that a jar of yellow liquid is best left sealed, drinking its contents usually does not lead to combustion. But the second mistake--lighting up a cigarette to recover from the shock of taking a mouthful of gasoline--was a decision that an average five year old would consider questionable. As the late Bill Hicks said, "Darn, we lost another idiot." Gary's friend was a mechanic and kept the jar of gasoline near the kitchen sink to remove grease from his hands. Not so bright sparks 2013 At risk survivors(pending acceptance) Dallas Texas Two people were injured early morning Jan 29th 2013, in Van Zandt County after sparking an explosion while smoking cigarettes on top of two oil storage units. A man and woman, both 24, were transported to Parkland Memorial Hospital after the explosion. According to WFAAChannel 8, the woman was on life support, while the man has burns on his face, arms and chest. The explosion occurred just before 3 a.m. Firefighters responded to the scene and used foam blankets to prevent the three remaining oil storage units from catching fire, The man and woman have not been identified and are not believed to be employees of the company that owns the units.

Capricorn 22nd December - 20th January. Judgement, You will enjoy a significant renewal and regeneration in a close relationship. A new and more mature depth of understanding between you brings you closer in a more balanced and harmonious way. You will find yourself working on projects or creative endeavours together in a truly harmonious way, while each of you still retains your individuality. Aquarius 21st January - 18th February. The Empress, This is a card of seasons, indicating that the greater emotional contentment coming your way is a work in progress and the fruits of this development will be clearly seen and felt within a season. But it's now, in March, that the seeds are sown which will lead you to greater depths of emotional fulfilment and understanding. You'll find yourself appreciated for the warmth, loyalty, trust and contentment you bring to those you love. Pisces 19th February - 20th March,The Magician, And so Pisces life changes, but in a good way. March sees you applying creative and inventive ways of soothing any disharmony that has arisen in the home. Relations with loved ones are healed. Your ability to encourage and develop the characters, personalities and skills of young people is enhanced, so there's certainly the necessary magic abounding to wisely deal with any problems with offspring, be they yours or somebody else's.

Aries 21st March - 20th April Page of Wands. After overcoming a recent disappointment around a deception, news comes your way that will lead to love once more. It will be best if you take your time this time to assess whether this is a fling or has longer-term possibilities. Even if this is only a temporary enjoyment, you can expect to be leaving sorrows and difficulties behind soon, as you enter a whole new phase of emotional life

Taurus 21st April - 21st May Queen of Pentacles, Recent times have been quite emotionally disruptive and upsetting for you, Taurus. This card tells us that money matters have been a source of distress where your relational life is concerned. Well, money matters balance out and prosper, easing much of the disharmony, but for a brief period of time this advancement also ties you into lifestyle or activities that challenge your deeper nature and cause you to feel bound and overburdened. Don't panic, this stage is very temporary. Soon all shall be harmonious contentment.

Gemini 22nd May - 20th June Eight of Cups, So, March sees you walking away from a relationship or friendship that has lost its appeal in some way. As these events unfold, new horizons open up for you in most unexpected ways. Destiny has guided you toward greater freedom to move ahead and attain great growth through new associations. You'll be surprised at how one small decision opens up whole new worlds of happiness.

Cancer 21st June - 20th July, Four of Cups, You're experiencing a bit of dissatisfaction with your emotional life at this time. There's been too much in the way of strife, struggle and manipulation of late and quite frankly you're sick of it. The hand of destiny is behind recent events, pushing you toward a serious re-evaluation of where things currently stand and pulling you toward something better.

Leo 21st July - August 20th, The Hermit, Recent events that have affected you quite strongly have caused you to withdraw somewhat from social and relational interaction. It is a time when wisdom would have it that you do take time to heal and contemplate the implications and obligations that such events have imposed upon you.

Virgo 24th August - 22nd September Queen of Pentacles, There will be something of a hiccup in your otherwise contented relational life, as someone makes unrealistic demands on your financial contribution to a mutual endeavour or to home maintenance. This causes some sudden changes and a feeling of disappointment in your relationship. But that will soon pass as you will be victorious in stating your position and new understandings will be reached. Libra 23rd September - 22nd October . The Empress, March promises to be a month of emotional contentment and harmony for you, Libra. Any income worries that might have been distressing you recently will be overcome and this added security will encourage a celebratory feeling within your home. Many of you will hear news of a pregnancy which could be another reason for that celebratory mood.

Scorpio 23rd October - 22nd November. King of Cups, There have been deep upsets for you in the recent past and you will be feeling as if you are in a rather delicate state of emotional recovery, or at least hoping you are. Well, you are. March will see you attaining a greater depth of equanimity and peace of heart. You will find that association, friendship or partnership with someone with strong foreign connections will be of great assistance in your regaining of emotional harmony and balance.

Sagittarius 23rd November - 22nd December. Ace of Wands, There's new and joyful growth in at least one close relationship that has in the past required all the strength you could muster just to keep viable. The card indicates that you successfully apply creativity and originality to the management and healing of the pertinent relationships, in order to attain the new level of harmony and understanding that becomes evident this month.

It turns out we have exactly what you need , Your reflection.. By looking at your reflection in the page. To help put the image behind glass enough for you to see your reflection. Apple does it again Apple announced today that it has developed a breast implant that can store and play music! The iTit will cost from ÂŁ499 to ÂŁ699, depending on cup and speaker size. This is considered a major social breakthrough because for generations women have been complaining about men staring at their tits and not listening to them. Thats entertainment? It was entertainment night at the senior citizens' centre. After the community sing song led by Alice at the piano It was time for the Star of the Show- Claude the Hypnotist! Claude explained that he was going to put the whole audience into a trance."Yes, each and every one of you and all at the same time." said Claude.

The excited chatter dropped to silence as Claude carefully withdrew from his waistcoat pocket A beautiful antique gold pocket watch and chain. "I want you to keep your eyes on this watch" said Claude, holding the watch high for all to see. "It is a very special and valuable watch that has been in my family for six generations" Said Claude. He began to swing the watch gently back and forth while quietly chanting "Watch the watch --- Watch the watch ---Watch the watch" The audience became mesmerised as the watch swayed back and forth. The lights twinkling as they were reflected from it's gleaming surfaces. A hundred and fifty pairs of eyes followed the movements of the gently swaying watch.

And then, Suddenly, The chain broke!!! The beautiful watch fell to the stage and burst apart on impact" "SHIT" said Claude. It took them three days to clean the Senior Citizens' Centre And Claude was never invited to entertain again!

Will it be cold this winter? It's late fall and the Indians on a remote reservation in South Dakota asked their new chief if the coming winter was going to be cold or mild. Since he was a chief in a modern society, he had never been taught the old secrets. When he looked at the sky, he couldn't tell what the winter was going to be like. Nevertheless, to be on the safe side, he told his tribe that the winter was indeed going to be cold and that the members of the village should collect firewood to be prepared. But, being a practical leader, after several days, he got an idea. He went to the phone booth, called the National Weather Service and asked, 'Is the coming winter going to be

cold?' 'It looks like this winter is going to be quite cold,' the meteorologist at the weather service responded. So the chief went back to his people and told them to collect even more firewood in order to be prepared. A week later, he called the National Weather Service again. 'Does it still look like it is going to be a very cold winter?' 'Yes,' the man at National Weather Service again replied, 'it's going to be a very cold winter.' The chief again went back to his people and ordered them to collect every scrap of firewood they could find. Two weeks later, the chief called the National Weather Service again. 'Are you absolutely sure that the winter is going to be very cold?' 'Absolutely,' the man replied. 'It's looking more and more like it is going to be one of the coldest winters we've ever seen.' 'How can you be so sure?' the chief asked.

The weatherman replied,'The Indians are collecting a massive load of firewood'
