Speaker Series

Our mission is to improve the quality of life for people as they age.

Reader’s Theater Unlimited
Wednesday, April 3 @ 10:00 am • Olympia Senior Center
We’ll demonstrate some of our activities such as script reading and discussion, perhaps a short scene from one of our plays and skill-building activities (perhaps with audience involvement). Get a backstage look at the many ways to contribute to putting a show together and taking it on the road! You don’t have to act, you certainly don’t have to memorize, but you can expect to use your creativity and to have a ton of fun.

Naomi Lombardi
Wednesday, April 10 @ 10:00 am • Olympia
Naomi Lombardi, MA Clinical Psychology, will be speaking about her experience of having died and been miraculously returned. An awe-inspiring story, Naomi speaks about this death & return experience as an “adventure” that we all must face, if possible, with great courage. She shares the depth of facing death and what she was instructed to share with others upon her return to life. In the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, when someone dies and returns, they are called a “Delog,” and must share the story of their experience. The journey unearths the beauty of being a human being and honors what the heart knows to be true.
