NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. – A Western New York woman won a progressive jackpot of $544,908 this past weekend at Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel. The lucky pull came at 11:25 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 22 on a MegaJackpots® Wheel of Fortune® 3x 4x 5x dollar slot machine, located near the center of the main gaming floor. The player, identified as Jean D. of Cheektowaga, N.Y., placed a maximum bet of $3 and hit the 3x, 4x and 5x Wheel of Fortune® symbols on the payout line. The progressive amount is linked to games at multiple Native American-owned casinos in the Northeast region. According to Chuck Kilroy, general manager at Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel, the progressive jackpots add to the excitement – and even larger jackpots are available to be won. - more -
