OCTOBER 2012 LIVE REGIONAL MUSICAL ACTS AT SENECA CASINOS NIAGARA FALLS and SALAMANCA, N.Y. – Some of the best live musical acts from Western New York, Southern Ontario and beyond can be seen for free at Seneca Casinos. Club 101 at Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel in Niagara Falls, and Casino Bar at Seneca Allegany Casino & Hotel in Salamanca, are the places to be for intimate, live music while enjoying drinks and gaming. Club 101 features an elevated circular lounge at the center of Seneca Niagara Casino’s gaming floor, while Casino Bar offers a semi-walled setting near Seneca Allegany Casino’s table games area. Two new bands join the Club 101 lineup this October, and a Nashville recording artist will make a return visit at the end of the month. Sudden Urge, a Buffalo-based classic rock band that recently won “Top Pop/Rock Band” at the 2012 Western New York Music Awards, performs on Saturday, Oct. 20, from 5 to 9 p.m. Busted Stuff, the Buffalo-based duo of Dave Abbatoy and Cynthia McCaffrey, plays a mix of classic and modern rock cover tunes as well as original music on Thursday, Oct. 25, from 5 to 9 p.m. And finally, Amanda Nagurney, a Nashville recording artist, performs Saturday, Oct. 27, from 5 to 9 p.m. The 23 year-old local native and country singer-songwriter has opened for some of the best acts in the business, including Sara Evans, Gretchen Wilson, Travis Tritt, The Band Perry and Miranda Lambert.
