Fifth year Architecture student interested in cutting edge design concepts for public buildings including museums, art galleries, clinics, fitness centers and concert halls. Motivated in learning about sustainability and complex design for special acoustics, lighting and energy resources. Worked on design projects with mixed-use programs and concentrated on their communication with its surroundings, climate, and socio-cultural aspects with the respect of building code. In the future, My goal is to combine my skills in music and art (photography and digital media) with architecture to create multi-disciplinary projects.

To provide a new residential model that offers educator housing that relies on community participation to enhance the residential experience and neighborhood. The site will be the center that brings together the community gardens as one main space for gathering, sanctuary, and sharing.

Smokey Point, Washington // ZGF Architects Originally known as Zimmer Gunsul Frasca Partnership, ZGF Architects was established in 1942 in Portland,Oregon. In 2016 it was named the #1 Architectural firm in the country, according to AIA, due to it’s commitment to sustainable architecture. ZGF Architects designed this medical center for The Everett Clinic (TEC), a physician owned clinic group, located in Washington, who care for a quarter million patients each year. The Everett Clinic at Smokey Point is the group’s first multi-specialty clinic that they built from square one. Through design, ZGF Architects pursued TEC’s goals of minimizing waste and amplifying the patient’s experience through shortened wait times and providing care in anaccessible location. Lean methodologies were used in the creation of this building with a tight 24-month design and construction schedule and a budget of 13.6 million dollars.

CIRCULATION
The Everett Clinic at Smokey Point is mainly programmed with Clinic and Office spaces. Collaboration is encouraged through shared office areas that are centralized among exam rooms. Patient and faculty circulation is clearly divided, with patients traveling around spaces and faculty walking through spaces. The Everett Clinic at Smokey Point’s foundation is slab-on-grade concrete. There are several round steel columns that line the inner perimeter of the structure and frame circulation within the building. Wood beams and steel girders are used to resist gravity and lateral loads and transfer them safely into the ground. The shell provides a low-maintenance, durable finish that was produced on site using local sand and gravel and is accented by Northwest harvested wood. The Everett Clinic’s goal is to cut the time that a patient spends waiting by more than 25%. Patient “pause areas” replace the traditional waiting rooms.

The program focuses on the theater education for musicals, dance, drama, and set + costume design. Even though in each part, different types of artistic values are teached, they all must relate to one goal:making original plays for the amphitheater. While the institute has regular students during weekdays, it’s open for practive for students after work days, as well as during weekends. Different instructors from outside and inside of school can make workshop outside of class hours for everyone. The design concept derived from the original slope of the site. The goal is to make a green building who can function as a walkable are of the roof and a bridge that connects the lowest and highest level on the study model I’ve made, I’ve tried to show the circulation on the roof. and how you can access the different parts of the theatre school. The dwelling’s façade would also be all glass in order to bring the daylight inside of the building. On the roof top there would be also some windows for daylight and observing the students.
