Message from the Head of School Dear Parents, Last but not least, we are excited to be moving into our new Kindergarten facility for Term 2. This purpose built facility is bright and light and will enhance the Play Based Learning approach for our Kindy students.
Welcome to the September edition of our Newsletter. We are basking in the glow of our new Grade 3-5 skylight. The collaborative space has been transformed by the introduction of more natural light into the surroundings and even makes the space seem larger.
We are so thankful for each family that has chosen to partner with our school in the education of their child(ren). Like a family, there are challenges along the way, but may we continue to choose to trust each other and ask the Lord to give us the strength to be excellent examples for our children to follow.
We recently received final results from the completion of our first IGCSE class. We are very proud of the students and the pleasing results they achieved. September 15-17 our hard-working teachers met to complete the Project Based Learning certificate offered by PBL Works. Teachers were able to learn and work collaboratively on PBL projects that will be implemented across this year.
Respectfully, Tim Heading
After an afternoon training session with the Peekapak representative, teachers have also been busy implementing this Social Emotional Learning program once/twice per week. Why not ask your child what they learnt this week?
