Message from the Head of School As Julie Winn from the Christian Deeper Learning organisation puts it: “That the knowledge and skills they (students) work hard to acquire can be applied to solve problems, make change, and cultivate Shalom (peace), even today.”
Hello parents, I would like to take a moment and pause to reflect on an aspect of SPH Pluit Village's holistic approach to education. Yes, we are an educational institution and so academics is of course important to us. We are doing well in this area, as recent strong results by our students in the ACSI Math and JNY Science competitions attest. But our holistic approach from a biblical perspective encompasses far more than just academics.
I am encouraged and excited as we enter this final term of learning and continue welcoming students back to onsite learning, some for the first time in two years. We have amazing students, teachers and parents. And have an amazing community. By the grace of God we can impact each other and those around us for His glory.
My desire is that as a community of learners, we can provide our students (your children) with the tools and desire to genuinely impact the world around them.
Respectfully, Tim Heading Head of School of SPH Pluit Village
