Funding Guide

This guide helps educational leaders & decision-makers get the most from federal funding and demonstrates how Seesaw supports ESSA requirements.

• Multimodal tools provide accessible opportunities for audio and video responses increase access to content and build oral language

• Students have multiple ways to show what they know, which supports competency-based assessment and gives teachers a more complete view of each student’s progress

• Language options and translations provide family engagement opportunities for all

Instructional Resources to Support Multilingual Learners

• Content in Spanish has been transadapted to prioritize cultural relevance and create true access points for students

• English Language Development package provides scaffolded opportunities to practice English in the context of core subjects

• Newcomer Collection content support students in building common English vocabulary of highutility words in their community

• All Seesaw Library content includes directions in English and Spanish

• Lessons include instructional videos with closed captioning, multiple entry points, and ageappropriate activities accompanied by accessible multi-modal tools for student creation

• Computer Science collections build digital literacy and Health and Wellness collections support student wellbeing in a safe and supportive environment

• Seesaw’s Library includes 6000+ engaging activities that provide high-quality, personalized digital curriculum across all subjects, including content for academic enrichment

21st Century Learning Skills

• Seesaw’s multimodal tools allow students to show what they know in ways that work best for them. Using Seesaw integrates 21st century skills into everyday classroom instruction
