Messaging for Administrators in Seesaw Customize Your Messaging Experience! District Admin
Manage settings for all schools in your district. You can choose a consistent communication experience for every school, or let schools decide. 1. Log into Seesaw and navigate to your District Dashboard. 2. Tap the gear icon in the top right. 3. Adjust which roles can create 1:1 or group chat conversations
School Admin
If you have a district-wide subscription, the district settings may determine which Messages settings you are able to adjust for your school. 1. Log into Seesaw and navigate to the School Dashboard. 2. Tap the gear icon in the top right. 3. Select “Messages Settings” > Adjust settings.

Select a message type:

Add recipients: Search for individuals or tap “Add Classes” to select your recipients from groups of teachers, family members, and/or students.

Type your message: Use the green +Add button to add attachments. Click

View sent messages in your school(s) from the Dashboard.

Navigate to the Classes, Teachers, Students, or Families tab.

Tap the three dots to the right of the user.
•
Tap “View Messages.”
