DEAR FRIENDS
Welcome to our rst-ever Seed Shul brochure! We often talk about "the circle of life" but perhaps a better term would be "the spiral of life", (albeit harder to t to the Lion King soundtrack!).
When travelling in a circle you end up at exactly the same place that you started whereas each revolution of a spiral lifts you one level higher.
As we stand at the beginning of a new year we need to make sure that our Judaism doesn't just feel like trudging around a circle but rather that we are spiralling upwards with a deeper and more meaningful experience than last year.
This brochure has been designed to bring this within your reach. Whether you are looking for social experiences, parent and child bonding, in-depth learning or even a trip abroad there is something for everyone! Our theme this year is Achdut - Keeping it Together, with events to encourage reaching out to others and education to strengthen our common goals.
We'd like to thank our Vice Chair and Events co-ordinator Avi Schlagman for the idea to make this brochure and (after more work than he ever imagined!) bringing it all together.
We are fortunate to work with a fantastic team led by our dedicated Chair Eli Kosiner, Youth Directors Netanel and Tziviya and Seedlings Co-ordinator Mirele. Our committee also works tirelessly to make the Shul the vibrant place that we all know and love. Thank you for everything - it is a privilege to work together.
