HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY Sons and Daughters, Grace to you!

About this time each year we celebrate Mother’s Day. It is a time for memories and reflection of mothers who were righteously free in deeds and actions toward their children and others. Can you celebrate that kind of mother today?

Mothers who reared their children by the Word of God, in knowledge and reverence of the Lord God of heaven and earth. Were you blessed to have had such a mother who became your first Bible teacher? If yes, your celebration today ought to be with a shout of thankful praise because you are what she infused in you by God’s help.

THE FREEDOM OF TRUE MOTHERHOOD can be attained by the Word of God active in every mother. Young mothers should emulate the holy qualities of Lois and Eunice, a mother and grandmother in II Timothy 1:3-7.

The holy living of Eunice and Loise affected Lois’ son Timothy in such a way that he was a blessing to the eminent apostle Paul in ministry who used him often and later God gifted Timothy with the gift of bishopric to the church at Ephesus.

It all started with grandmother Eunice and his mother Lois. What are you doing with your children? When you do all, you can and place them in the hands of the Lord, God will deal with them accordingly.

Mothers today should emulate the holy life of Eunice and Lois. It is not too late to turn unrighteousness to holy actions as a mother your children need it and God is counting on you. Amen Until He Comes, I Am Serving Christ Joyfully, Bishop Dr. Wm. La Rue Dillard Parish Under-shepherd
