May 27, 2018 Worship Service: 10:00 a.m.

Old Shoes - New Path Rev. David Snapper will bring a sermon based on the passage in Deuteronomy 29. Reverend David Snapper's home of 30 years is in Silverdale. He is retired from Anchor of Hope Church.

Today

Nursery: The Nursery is available downstairs for children (newborn–age 3) during the morning service. Children’s Church (ages 4-10) will not be meeting today because of the Memorial Day holiday. Sunday School and Catechism classes are on hiatus until the new academic year. We hope to see you in the Fall. Special Offering: We will have one offering this morning for Ministry Shares. Ministry Shares is one of our ways to support our Classis Pacific Northwest and our denomination, the CRC. There will be no offering for our LOB today, so if you have gifts you intend for our congregation, please note LOB on the memo line of your check.

Next Week

Message: Rev. Don Piper will be our speaker next week. His sermon, "I AM Who I AM" will be based on the passage in Exodus 3:11-15. He is a retired pastor of the Seattle RPCNA, the Reformed Presbyterian Church of North America. Communion: Next week, we will celebrate the Lord’s Supper together. Over the coming week, prepare your heart to confess at the Lord’s table so that you seek your salvation in Christ. Two Offerings: We will collect two offerings this morning. The first offering will be directed toward our Local Operating Budget (LOB), and the second Benevolence offering will go to the Back To School Consortium. Cookie Social: We will have our monthly cookie social. For those of you whose last name begins with S-Z, please bring 2-3 dozen treats to share.

Getting Connected We encourage you to get connected with a community group for fellowship and mutual support. It is far too easy to simply come to church on Sunday and then slip out. We want to get to know you better, so join us! If you would like more information about any group, please contact the Church Office.

Shoreline Christian Reformed Church is a gospel and grace-centered

community learning how to follow Jesus. We belong to a broader community called The Christian Reformed Church. What does this mean? We call ourselves… Christian… Because we belong to Jesus Christ and want to be His followers.

Reformed…

Church…

Because we’re part of the historic branch of the Christian church that follows the teachings of the leaders of the Protestant Reformation, who struggled to return Christianity to its Biblical roots. Because God has called us to be a fellowship of His people in the world.
