ANNOUNCEMENTS SCRC Family Photo Album Thanks to those of you who participated in the online photo album for Pastor Dan and Grace. The response has been fun, and we have photos for nearly 140 people—which gives Dan and Grace a good head start on putting our names to faces! You can see the online SCRC Family Album at the following link: http://bit.ly/SCRC-Family-Album If you did not get a chance to have your photo taken yet and still want to join in the fun, contact Steve DeKoekkoek and he’ll add you to the album. Women's Fellowship Group Join us on Thursday morning at 9:30 a.m. at 3rd Place Books in Lake Forest Park Shopping Center. We have chosen to read Ordinary Grace by William Kruger this month and will discuss it the last Thursday of April. Come for fellowship the next three Thursdays. You don't have to be a part of the book club to come. For more info, please contact Harriet Jonkman.

Special Thanks The Banta family would like to thank all those who sent cards and emails in regards to our dad, Wayne Banta’s passing. We all appreciate your prayers and kind words during this time. A special thank you to the serving group who provided and served refreshments after the Memorial Service. We feel blessed to have such a wonderful community of support around us. ~ Debbie and Paul DeKoekkoek Street Clean-Up Cleaning “our street” in front of the church is one of the ways we serve our community. We are looking for some individuals or a group who would be willing to take on this community project a few times a year. We are responsible for 25th Avenue from 145th to 165th. Besides beautifying our neighborhood it’s also a good walk! If you are interested or have questions, contact Wayne Clousing.

Directory Update in Progress We are in the process of updating our Church Directory, and we need your help! Please take a few moments to review the drafted pages that are on display in the back of the Sanctuary. If we don't have your birthday or anniversary, please provide that information so we can include you in the monthly celebrations. Thank you for taking the time to update our files.

Getting Connected We encourage you to get connected with a community group for fellowship and mutual support. It is far too easy to simply come to church on Sunday and then slip out. We want to get to know you better, so join us! If you would like more information about any group, please contact the Church Office.

Cadets (Boys grades 3-6) The goal of Cadeting is to help boys grow spiritually in all areas of life—devotional, mental, physical, and social. The Cadets meet most Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. in Fellowship Hall during the school year. GEMS (Girls Everywhere Meeting the Savior) This club for girls in grades 3-6 meets on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. in various rooms at church. Our activities include Bible lessons, praise/worship, badges, crafts and other fun things.

Sunday Afternoon Bible Study (Adults all ages) This group of adults meets once a month in various homes every third Sunday from September through May. Our next meeting is April 15 at 3:00 p.m. We will continue our study by Dale Larsen entitled, "Growing Older and Wiser." Men’s Bible Study The Men’s Bible Study meets most Monday evenings at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Room. We are currently studying the Minor Prophets. All men are welcome, so please join us!

ALIVE Youth Group (JH and HS students) This year, we are combining our JH and HS students in a group called ALIVE (always living in view of eternity). We meet on the first and third Wednesdays of each month, unless noted otherwise. Our next regular meeting is on Wednesday, April 4 at 7:00 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Room.

Women’s Monday PM Bible Study The Women's Monday Evening Bible Study meets most Monday evenings at 7:00 p.m. in Rooms 201-202. We are starting a study guide from the Voice of the Martyrs entitled, I am N: Inspiring Stories of Christians Facing Islamic Extremists. Contact Carla Hoekzema for more information.

Couples' Club (for Couples of All Ages) This group meets one Saturday evening per month from October through May. Our next meeting will be on Saturday, April 21 at 6:30 p.m. Host: Ken & Carla Hoekzema Helpers: Clarence & Lois Deelstra Steve & Carol DeKoekkoek

Women's Fellowship Group Join us on Thursday mornings at 9:30 a.m. as we meet for fellowship. We meet at Third Place Books in the Lake Forest Park Shopping Center. For more information, contact Harriet Jonkman. Hope to see you there, and please bring a friend.

Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near. Hebrews 10:24-25 (NLT)

Shoreline Christian Reformed Church is a gospel and grace-centered

community learning how to follow Jesus. We belong to a broader community called The Christian Reformed Church. What does this mean? We call ourselves… Christian… Because we belong to Jesus Christ and want to be his followers.

Reformed…

Church…

Because we’re part of the historic branch of the Christian church that follows the teachings of the leaders of the Protestant Reformation, who struggled to return Christianity to its biblical roots. Because God has called us to be a fellowship of his people in the world.
