SHORELINE CHRISTIAN REFORMED CHURCH A portion of each of our services during the Lenten season will focus on “Freedom from Fear.” Throughout the gospels Jesus tells his followers or those around him, “Do not be afraid.” Yet today, fear plays an enormous part in our lives. May this season be a discovery of fears from which Jesus is releasing us today.

Meal Train Needed Martha Reynolds continues to suffer from the cracked vertebra for which she will have surgery next week. Please continue to pray for reduced pain for her and patience for her and Herb during this time of waiting. If you can support them with a meal please use the following link: https://mealtrain.com/m7584l Library Update The library has found a new home. Did you see the bookshelves in the Foyer? And the library has a new process— no more need to sign out for the books you take home. Simply return your borrowed books when you are finished reading them. We plan to circulate the books that are on the shelves, so take a look every so often to see if there's something you might find interesting. Special Thanks to Pastor Search Team On behalf of the congregation, the Council thanks the Pastor Search Team for all their work leading up to the calling of our new pastor. It took a lot of time and effort to read resumes, listen to sermons, do Skype interviews and many other tasks ... and we are grateful for all their diligent searching on our behalf. We rejoice in a successful conclusion to our search. For more info, contact the Church Office
Art on Display: Please take a few moments to view the three pieces of art in the Foyer. These pieces are are entitled, “Envy,” “Greed,” and “Sloth.” Can you tell which one is which? Sin isn’t always easy to spot. It can be easy for ambition to tumble into pursuit fueled by envy. Or for self-love and confidence to build into all-consuming pride. These paintings are from a series titled “Deadly” which was displayed in our church in 2014. Each piece of “Deadly” represents a deadly sin that are so often committed, but not always spotted. We are grateful for artist Mandy Faber's gracious loan of her creative work.

Shoreline Christian Reformed Church is a gospel and grace-centered
community learning how to follow Jesus. We belong to a broader community called The Christian Reformed Church. What does this mean? We call ourselves… Christian… Because we belong to Jesus Christ and want to be his followers.
Reformed…
Church…
Because we’re part of the historic branch of the Christian church that follows the teachings of the leaders of the Protestant Reformation, who struggled to return Christianity to its biblical roots. Because God has called us to be a fellowship of his people in the world.
