SAVE THE DATE | March 3-4 | Global Partners Conference Please make sure to save the date for our annual missions conference. Our Missionary Support Team has renamed this event the "Global Partners Conference" in order to protect missionaries in countries or cultures where affiliation with Christian organizations can be dangerous. We look forward to good food, fellowship, worship, and visiting with missionaries. Pastor Jeff Heerspink—our former youth pastor—will bring the message at our worship service that weekend. Please pray for this event while it is being planned, so that it can impact generous support for Kingdom work

Getting Connected We encourage you to get connected with a community group for fellowship and mutual support. It is far too easy to simply come to church on Sunday and then slip out. We want to get to know you better, so join us! If you would like more information about any group, please contact the Church Office. Cadets (Boys grades 3-6) The goal of Cadeting is to help boys grow spiritually in all areas of life—devotional, mental, physical, and social. The Cadets meet most Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. in Fellowship Hall during the school year. We are enjoying our Christmas break and will resume on Jan. 10. Merry Christmas!

Sunday Afternoon Bible Study (Adults all ages) This group of adults meets once a month in various homes every third Sunday from September through May. Since we are taking a Christmas break, our next meeting is Sunday, January 21 at 3:00 p.m. We will continue in our study by Dale Larsen entitled, "Growing Older and Wiser."

GEMS (Girls Everywhere Meeting the Savior) This club for girls in grades 3-6 meets on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. in various rooms at church. Our activities include Bible lessons, praise/worship, badges, crafts and other fun things. We are on break for the holidays and will restart on Jan. 10. Enjoy the season with your family!

Men’s Bible Study The Men’s Bible Study meets most Monday evenings at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Room. We will not meet on December 25, nor on January 1. We will resume on January 8 in our study of Zechariah. All men are welcome, so please join us!

ALIVE Youth Group (JH and HS students) This year, we are combining our JH and HS students in a group called ALIVE (always living in view of eternity). We meet on the first and third Wednesdays of each month, unless noted otherwise. Our next meeting is on Wednesday, January 3 at 7:00 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Room. Couples' Club (for Couples of All Ages) This group meets one Saturday evening per month from October through May. Our next meeting will be on Saturday, January 20 at 6:30 p.m. Host: Rich & Alyce Bakker Helpers: Ken & Carla Hoekzema Dan & Chris Kredit

Women’s Monday PM Bible Study Currently on Christmas break, the Women's Monday Evening Bible Study meets most Monday evenings at 7:00 p.m. in 201-202. We are using the study Having a Mary Heart in a Martha World by Joanna Weaver. We invite women of all ages to join us. Women's Thursday AM Bible Study The ladies are taking a break during the month of December in order to devote the time to family activities. We resume on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. in Rooms 201-202. We will start again with Lesson 10 in our study, Having a Mary Heart in a Martha World by Joanna Weaver.

Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near. Hebrews 10:24-25 (NLT)

Shoreline Christian Reformed Church is a gospel and grace-centered

community learning how to follow Jesus. We belong to a broader community called The Christian Reformed Church. What does this mean? We call ourselves… Christian… Because we belong to Jesus Christ and want to be his followers.

Reformed…

Church…

Because we’re part of the historic branch of the Christian church that follows the teachings of the leaders of the Protestant Reformation, who struggled to return Christianity to its biblical roots. Because God has called us to be a fellowship of his people in the world.
