Special Thanks The Building & Grounds Team would like to offer its deepest thanks to the willing volunteers who helped dismantle the old theater seating and install the newly delivered chairs. This past week included a lot of events in our Sanctuary, so the delivery and set-up had to be turned around quickly. To those of you who helped ... please know that you are deeply appreciated!

UPCOMING CONGREGATIONAL DATES Please note some important dates that are coming up quickly: • Sunday, Nov. 26 - Check your mailbox for the 2017 Annual Report, which will feature ministry highlights and will include the proposed budget for the next year. You may prayerfully review it during the week. • Sunday, Dec. 3 – We will have a budget information meeting after the morning service. This will be a time to review the 2018 Budget together and ask clarifying questions. • Sunday, Dec. 10 – Our Annual Congregational Meeting will include voting on Elder and Deacon leadership, the 2018 Budget, and approve the minutes of all the Congregation Meetings we have had during the year. Thank you for planning ahead so that you can join us for these important times in the life of our church. 206.364.3021  office@seattlecrc.org

Taproot Theatre company— founded in 1976 by graduates of Seattle Pacific University—is Seattle's largest mid-size theatre company. Taproot creates theatre experiences to brighten the spirit, engage the mind and deepen the understanding of the world around us while inspiring imagination, conversation and hope. Journey back in time as Taproot Theatre presents, "Silent Night." A pair of strangers find themselves trapped with an angel, caught between time and continents. While not happy to find them in her space, the angel helps them find their way home. This charming Christmas comedy spans centuries and reminds us that peace on earth begins in the hearts of every individual. Silent Night is written by Daniel Stoltenberg and directed by Nathan Kessler-Jeffrey. Sunday, December 10  5:00 p.m. Shoreline CRC Come join us for this annual tradition. The evening begins with a string quartet in the foyer, which helps to set the mood for a fun dramatic presentation. After the production, we will enjoy refreshments and hot cider in the Foyer. We hope to see you there!

Shoreline Christian Reformed Church is a gospel and grace-centered

community learning how to follow Jesus. We belong to a broader community called The Christian Reformed Church. What does this mean? We call ourselves… Christian… Because we belong to Jesus Christ and want to be his followers.

Reformed…

Church…

Because we’re part of the historic branch of the Christian church that follows the teachings of the leaders of the Protestant Reformation, who struggled to return Christianity to its biblical roots. Because God has called us to be a fellowship of his people in the world.
