ANNOUNCEMENTS In Loving Memory of Alida Cornelia Vanderwerff Our deepest condolences to Neal Vanderwerff and the entire family at the recent loss of their precious wife, mother and grandmother. Ada was born on November 15, 1931 and entered into her eternal rest on November 3, 2017. The family is planning a memorial service to honor her life, and invites the SCRC family to attend. Saturday, November 18  11:00 a.m. Shoreline CRC There will be a brief reception following the service in the Foyer. Flower deliveries may be scheduled by contacting the Church Office. Memorial gifts may be made to Shoreline Christian School. Deepest Thanks & Prayer Request Our dear sister in Christ, Marcia Green, has been struggling recently with a severe lung infection. On top of that, she was involved in an automobile accident that deployed airbags, further complicating the healing process. Marcia deeply appreciates your prayer support during this time, as well as your gracious gifts of meals and visitation. Please keep her in your prayers as the infection will require serious antibiotic medication for 12 months. Thank you for being a loving church body.

Missionary Support Our Missionary Support Team has been helping us as a congregation learn about and support missionaries in our area and around the world. The team now needs our help with some new members. Some of the important things the team does include keeping in contact with our missionaries, proposing the budgeted amount of support we give them each year, and planning our Mission Sunday. If you are interested in joining the Missionary Support Team, you may talk to team members Aidan Bakker, Ed Einfield, Vonnie Roosendaal, Herb and Martha Reynolds, or contact Council liaisons Dora van der Giessen or Wayne Clousing.
Prayer Request Please pray for Clarence and Lois Deelstra as they volunteer for World Renew Disaster Response Services in San Marcos, Texas. They began their work last week and will complete it on November 24. Pray for safety and good progress as their team works to assist people who were affected by hurricanes and flooding in 2015.

Shoreline Christian Reformed Church is a gospel and grace-centered
community learning how to follow Jesus. We belong to a broader community called The Christian Reformed Church. What does this mean? We call ourselves… Christian… Because we belong to Jesus Christ and want to be his followers.
Reformed…
Church…
Because we’re part of the historic branch of the Christian church that follows the teachings of the leaders of the Protestant Reformation, who struggled to return Christianity to its biblical roots. Because God has called us to be a fellowship of his people in the world.
