Communion: We will celebrate the Lord’s Supper together today. We welcome you to the table, whether you are a member or visitor, if you have searched your heart and can make the following statements: • I recognize that I am a sinner and I am genuinely sorry for all my sins. • I trust in Jesus Christ as my only Savior and Lord, and I earnestly desire to live my life in obedience to him. • I have made public profession of faith in Jesus Christ, and I am a member in good standing of His church. Two Offerings: We will collect two offerings today. The first one will be directed toward our Local Operating Budget (LOB), and the second Benevolence Offering will go to Shoreline Community Care. Cookie Social: We will enjoy our monthly cookie social after the morning service. Thanks to those of you who brought treats to share.

ANNOUNCEMENTS Community Choir Concert Today We look forward to the annual Community Choir Concert which helps to raise funds for North Helpline. This organization helps prevent utility shut-offs and evictions, provides food, hygeine packs, diapers, and baby food for those in need. Sunday, November 5 ď Ž 3:00 p.m. Prince of Peace Lutheran Church Featuring soloist Laurie Solheim and emcee, Rob Brewer The participating choirs will include Shoreline CRC, Haller Lake United Methodist, Lake City Presbyterian, Prince of Peace Lutheran, The Sound Singers, and Wedgwood Presbyterian. There will be a cookie reception after the concert. Hope to see you there!

Missionary Support Our Missionary Support Team has been helping us as a congregation learn about and support missionaries in our area and around the world. The team now needs our help with some new members. Some of the important things the team does include keeping in contact with our missionaries, proposing the budgeted amount of support we give them each year, and planning our Mission Sunday. If you might be interested in joining the Missionary Support Team, you may talk to team members Aidan Bakker, Ed Einfield, Vonnie Roosendaal, Herb and Martha Reynolds, or contact Council liaisons Dora van der Giessen or Wayne Clousing.

New Leadership for Serving Groups Serving Groups are being reformed, and Carol DeKoekkoek has graciously agreed to take leadership of this caring ministry. Serving Groups have historically been tapped when there is a memorial service reception, when a visiting choir needs a meal, or another special need arises. All the women in the church will be assigned to one of three rotating groups, and each group will be led by two team leaders (for a total of six volunteer leaders). If you are willing to lead a team or don't want to be a part of this ministry, please contact Carol DeKoekkoek or the Church Office.

Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near. Hebrews 10:24-25 (NLT)

Shoreline Christian Reformed Church is a gospel and grace-centered

community learning how to follow Jesus. We belong to a broader community called The Christian Reformed Church. What does this mean? We call ourselves… Christian… Because we belong to Jesus Christ and want to be his followers.

Reformed…

Church…

Because we’re part of the historic branch of the Christian church that follows the teachings of the leaders of the Protestant Reformation, who struggled to return Christianity to its biblical roots. Because God has called us to be a fellowship of his people in the world.
