We thank God for your impact on the lives of your children, and we pray God's special blessing on you today. Teachers and helpers will be in the lobby area to meet you. Sunday School and Catechism are on hiatus until the new academic year. We hope to see you in September! Celebration Sunday: We will recognize June birthdays and anniversaries with a cake reception after the service. Please see the list of June honorees on page 7. If you have a special day in June that we might have missed, please let us know by contacting the Church Office. Thank you for helping us update our records.

Announcements Pray for Inspire 2017 Nationwide Conference

Community BBQ & Potluck We are planning a community BBQ/potluck lunch as a fun church family event, as well as a way to reach out to our community. Please invite your neighbors and friends. Sunday, June 25 at 11:30 a.m. Church Lower Level Hamburgers and hotdogs will be provided. Even though we don't want our guests to bring anything, we ask that you bring a side dish, salad or dessert—with enough to share. There are invitation postcards available in the Foyer so you can invite your friends and neighbors.

Inspire 2017 is a conference to connect people from across the 1000+ churches in the Christian Reformed Church for three days of worship, workshops, speakers, and conversation. As we plan and prepare for this event— happening August 3-5 in Detroit, Michigan, —please join us in praying for the event and all who will attend. This week, please pray for breakout speakers in sessions about family, marriage, parenting, and doing life together in community. Pray for them as they make decisions about topics and as they prepare messages. Pray that God will guide them as they present and discuss, and that people will be blessed by their words and ideas. For more information about this CRC denomination-wide event, please visit their website at https://inspire.crcna.org.

If you are able to help with set-up on Saturday evening, June 24, please contact Mike Vedders.

Street Clean-Up - June 24 It's time again for our annual Street Clean-Up event. This outreach event helps to spruce up our street (25th Ave.), and it gives us an opportunity to interact with our neighbors. It also is a good way to get some exercise! If you interested in participating, contact Wayne Clousing. Once we know who can participate, we will establish a timeframe.

Getting Connected We encourage you to get connected with a community group for fellowship and mutual support. It is far too easy to simply come to church on Sunday and then slip out. We want to get to know you better, so join us! If you would like more information about any group, please contact the Church Office.

Cadets (Boys grades 3-6) The goal of Cadeting is to help boys grow spiritually in all areas of life—devotional, mental, physical, and social. The Cadets are currently on summer break, and will resume in September. GEMS (Girls Everywhere Meeting the Savior), a club for girls in grades 3-6, meets during the school year on Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. Our activities include Bible lessons, praise/ worship, badges, crafts and other fun things. The girls are enjoying summer break, and will meet again in the Fall. MAC (Made Alive in Christ) MAC Junior High students meet together most Wednesdays during the academic year. Come join the fun at 7:00 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Room. We've concluded our year, be we will see you in September! High School Youth Group During the school year, we meet on the first and third Sundays each month at 6:00 pm. We have a meal together and get caught up on each other's lives before learning about discipleship in Christ. We are done for the year, but look forward to a new year together in the Fall.

Couples' Club (for Couples of All Ages) This groups meets one Saturday evening per month from October through May. We are currently on summer break, but we look forward to seeing you in the Fall. If you would like to learn more about this group, you may contact the Church Office. Men’s Bible Study The Men’s Bible Study meets most Monday evenings at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Room. We will continue to meet during the summer months, focusing on 2nd Timothy. Women's Morning Bible Study Meeting from September through May on most Thursday mornings, we gather to study the Word and encourage one another. We've now concluded the year, and will be enjoying a few months off during the summer. See you in the Fall! Women’s Evening Bible Study The Women's Monday Evening Bible Study has wrapped up the year of studying Colossians and Philemon. After a summer break, we will reconvene in September. We look forward to reconnecting then and starting up a new study!

Grow Groups (Adults) Grow Groups meet once a month in various homes every third Sunday from September through May. Now on hiatus, we look forward to seeing you in September.

Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near. Hebrews 10:24-25 (NLT)

Shoreline Christian Reformed Church is a gospel and grace-centered

community learning how to follow Jesus. We belong to a broader community called The Christian Reformed Church. What does this mean? We call ourselves… Christian… Because we belong to Jesus Christ and want to be his followers.

Reformed…

Church…

Because we’re part of the historic branch of the Christian church that follows the teachings of the leaders of the Protestant Reformation, who struggled to return Christianity to its biblical roots. Because God has called us to be a fellowship of his people in the world.
