Announcements

At the tail end of the service this morning, we will transition outside for a very special immersion baptism service for our brother in Christ, Joe Clem. As we witness Joe's public declaration and dedication to follow Jesus Christ, we as his church family will promise to support him in his spiritual walk. There will also be a reception for him in the Foyer afterwards, so please join us as we celebrate this significant milestone with Joe and Edna.

Sign Up Today - Lawn Mowing Crew It's that time of the year again! Now that the sun is out more often, the grass is growing fast. We need to gather a lawnmowing crew for the months of May through October. Please visit the table in the Foyer to sign up for your timeslots. We appreciate your willingness to serve in this way. If you have questions, please call Paul DeKoekkoek, or call the Church Office.

We will once again invite children from our church and neighborhood to come for an evening of fun while their muchdeserving parents enjoy a date night or just time to run some errands. Friday, June 16  6:30–9:00 p.m. Church Lower Level Children ages 6 months through 11 years are invited to enjoy games, stories, and snacks in a safe, supervised environment. Young parents may enjoy a night out without paying for childcare. The rest of us—ages 12 and up—will have the opportunity to serve the young families by volunteering to help with registration, preparing and serving snacks, or playing with/caring for the children. You may register your children or volunteer at the table in the Foyer. Questions may be directed to Dora van der Giessen. Thank you for serving our community in this way!

Praise and Prayer I am so thankful to God for being my firm foundation, and for helpful daily blessings during my stem cell infusion. I also appreciate the prayer support of my church family, and I am pleased to report that it's working! The pain is easing, for which I'm grateful. Your prayers are awesome.

We've now concluded the year, and will be enjoying a few months off during the summer. See you in the Fall! Women’s Evening Bible Study The Women's Monday Evening Bible Study has wrapped up the year of studying Colossians and Philemon. After a summer break, we will reconvene in September. We look forward to reconnecting then and starting up a new study!

Grow Groups (Adults) Grow Groups meet once a month in various homes every third Sunday from September through May. Now on hiatus, we look forward to seeing you in September.

Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near. Hebrews 10:24-25 (NLT)

Shoreline Christian Reformed Church is a gospel and grace-centered

community learning how to follow Jesus. We belong to a broader community called The Christian Reformed Church. What does this mean? We call ourselves… Christian… Because we belong to Jesus Christ and want to be his followers.

Reformed…

Church…

Because we’re part of the historic branch of the Christian church that follows the teachings of the leaders of the Protestant Reformation, who struggled to return Christianity to its biblical roots. Because God has called us to be a fellowship of his people in the world.
