Sunday's Message: Randy Rowland will resume our sermon series on Outreach, themed "Taking to the Streets." His sermon, "Salvation to the Ends of the Earth" will be based on Isaiah 49:5-7. Two Offerings: During this coming week, please seek the Lord’s direction on how He would want you to give for the two offerings next Sunday. The first one will be directed toward our Local Operating Budget (LOB), and the second will go to Ministry Shares. Since it is important to our congregation to be Christian Reformed, it is also important that we support the work of the denomination and classis. We benefit in many ways from those resources, and the Council would like to encourage increased giving in this area. Thank you for being a prayerful and generous church body! We look forward to a very special immersion baptism service next week for Joe Clem. Please join us after the service to celebrate this significant milestone with him.

Honoring our Grads on June 4 In an effort to recognize all graduates in our church and ministry programs, it would be greatly appreciated if you would let us know who they are! Please email the pertinent information for graduates that are transitioning from high school or college, as well as those moving from Junior High to High School. Graduate  School Name  Major or Degree (if applicable)

Please email this information to the church office. Thank you! Report from the Missionary Support Team Looking back, the Missions Conference on March 18-19 was a success. Fourteen missionaries and ministries participated. Five were from other parts of the world, including Lincoln Nebraska, and nine were from Western Washington or had offices in Western WA. The response we received from the participants included: • It was exciting to be a part of the event. • Participants were encouraged by being here and visiting with the congregation. • Participants were thankful to be able to fellowship with other missionaries, • People were delighted to see the focus on the children being involved with the conference. We intend to have another conference next spring. After prayerful consideration, the Missionary Support Team has decided to support Pastor Randy Rowland in the amount of $3,000 for a year in his new position as Seattle Network Pastor. (This support is in no way connected to his position of Interim Pastor for our church.) The Missionary Support Team needs to recruit another member for the team. To find out more about this opportunity contact Herb Reynolds. 206.364.3021  office@seattlecrc.org

Getting Connected We encourage you to get connected with a community group for fellowship and mutual support. It is far too easy to simply come to church on Sunday and then slip out. We want to get to know you better, so join us! If you would like more information about any group, please contact the Church Office.

Cadets (Boys grades 3-6) The goal of Cadeting is to help boys grow spiritually in all areas of life—devotional, mental, physical, and social. The Cadets are currently on summer break, and will resume in September. GEMS (Girls Everywhere Meeting the Savior), a club for girls in grades 3-6, meets during the school year on Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. Our activities include Bible lessons, praise/ worship, badges, crafts and other fun things. The girls are enjoying summer break, and will meet again in the Fall. MAC (Made Alive in Christ) MAC Junior High students meet together most Wednesdays during the academic year. Come join the fun at 7:00 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Room. Our last meeting for the year will be on May 31. High School Youth Group During the school year, we meet on the first and third Sundays each month at 6:00 pm. We have a meal together and get caught up on each other's lives before learning about discipleship in Christ. Our last regular meeting is on May 21, and our Year-End BBQ is on June 4 with our families.

Couples' Club (for Couples of All Ages) This groups meets one Saturday evening per month from October through May. We are currently on summer break, but we look forward to seeing you in September. If you would like to learn more about this group, you may contact the Church Office. Men’s Bible Study The Men’s Bible Study meets most Monday evenings at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Room. We will continue to meet during the summer months, focusing on 2nd Timothy. Women's Morning Bible Study Meeting from September through May on most Thursday mornings, we gather to study the Word and encourage one another. We've now concluded the year, and will be enjoying a few months off during the summer. See you in the Fall! Women’s Evening Bible Study The Women's Monday Evening Bible Study has wrapped up the year of studying Colossians and Philemon. After a summer break, we will reconvene in September. We look forward to reconnecting then and starting up a new study!

Grow Groups (Adults) Grow Groups meet once a month in various homes every third Sunday from September through May. Now on hiatus, we look forward to seeing you in September.

Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near. Hebrews 10:24-25 (NLT)

Shoreline Christian Reformed Church is a gospel and grace-centered

community learning how to follow Jesus. We belong to a broader community called The Christian Reformed Church. What does this mean? We call ourselves… Christian… Because we belong to Jesus Christ and want to be his followers.

Reformed…

Church…

Because we’re part of the historic branch of the Christian church that follows the teachings of the leaders of the Protestant Reformation, who struggled to return Christianity to its biblical roots. Because God has called us to be a fellowship of his people in the world.
