Announcements Congregational Vote on Church Name Last Sunday we gathered together to vote on our new church name. With a 71% majority, the new name of our church is Shoreline Christian Reformed Church. The Council is grateful for the overwhelming and strong input of the congregation in recent weeks and months about our church identity as we’ve discussed the need to change our church name. Your collective desire to reach the community for Christ has been exciting to see. In the coming weeks, the Council will begin the transition to this new church identity and will update the congregation when the name change has officially taken effect. Thank you again for your prayerful consideration of this important matter in the life of our church. Good Friday Service Please prepare your hearts for a very significant Good Friday service. We will focus on the Stations of the Cross with moving music and reflection on the events surrounding Jesus' betrayal, denial, judgment, scourging, trial, crucifixion, death, and burial. Walk in His Steps Friday, April 14  7:00 p.m. Shoreline CRC Auditorium The Nursery will be available downstairs for children (from newborn to age 3) during the service.

Getting Connected We encourage you to get connected with a community group for fellowship and mutual support. It is far too easy to simply come to church on Sunday and then slip out. We want to get to know you better, so join us! If you would like more information about any group, please contact the Church Office. Cadets (Boys grades 3-6) The goal of Cadeting is to help boys grow spiritually in all areas of life—devotional, mental, physical, and social. The Cadets meet most Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. in Fellowship Hall during the school year. GEMS (Girls Everywhere Meeting the Savior), a club for girls in grades 3-6, meets on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. in various rooms at church. Our activities include Bible lessons, praise/worship, badges, crafts and other fun things. MAC (Made Alive in Christ) MAC Junior High students meet together most Wednesdays during the academic year. Come join the fun at 7:00 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Room. High School Youth Group The High School Youth Group meets at 6:00 p.m. on the first and third Sundays of each month during the school year. We have a meal together and get caught up on each other's lives before learning about discipleship in Christ. Grow Groups (Adults) Grow Groups meet once a month in various homes every third Sunday from September through May. We are continuing our study of Galatians.

Couples Club (for Couples of All Ages) This groups meets one Saturday evening per month from October through May. Our next meeting will be on Saturday, April 15. HOST: Dan & Chris Kredit HELP: Ed & Denise Einfeld Steve & Carol DeKoekkoek Men’s Bible Study The Men’s Bible Study meets most Mondays at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Room. We use a John Stott study guide as we focus on 1st Timothy and Titus. Women's Morning Bible Study Join the Women's Morning Bible Study group on Thursdays at 9:30 a.m. Instead of working through a guidebook, we'll be reading through the book of 1 John. Come join us on in Rooms 201-202. Women’s Evening Bible Study The Women's Evening Bible Study meets most Monday evenings at 7:00 p.m. in Rooms 201-202. We are using the study guide "Embracing God's Grace— Colossians and Philemon." Please join us if you are able.

Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near. Hebrews 10:24-25 (NLT)

Shoreline Christian Reformed Church is a gospel and grace-centered community learning how to follow Jesus. We belong to a broader community called The Christian Reformed Church. What does this mean? We call ourselves… Christian… Because we belong to Jesus Christ and want to be his followers. Reformed… Because we’re part of the historic branch of the Christian church that follows the teachings of the leaders of the Protestant Reformation, who struggled to return Christianity to its biblical roots. Church… Because God has called us to be a fellowship of his people in the world.
