Ancient Greek Olympic winners received decorated terra-cotta pots called amphorae filled with olive oil from Athena's groves. The vases featured event scenes, Athena, and the games' emblem. Winners could receive up to 140 amphorae, and the olive oil had various uses like cooking and lighting lamps.

After the retreat on August 17th, you can join the Enhance our Environment Committee to craft a lovely garden stepping stone. Get your Stepping Stone Kit from Amazon and bring it along on August 17th for a post-retreat crafting session. Everything required for the garden stone project is provided in the kit. Feel free to bring additional baubles, beads, pebbles, and stained glass to personalize your stepping stones.
