WHAT TO DO NEXT

1. ACCESS YOUR REDHAWK ADMISSIONS PORTAL

™ VISIT ADMISSIONS.SEATTLEU.EDU/APPLY/STATUS

The Redhawk Admissions Portal will be your go-to place to access important updates, information and resources. In the portal, you can:

• View your official admission decision

• Confirm your enrollment

• Pay your $500 deposit

• Access admitted student next steps

• Sign up for admitted student events

If you no longer have access to your portal, contact the Admissions Office at admissions@seattleu.edu or 206-220-8040.

2. APPLY FOR FINANCIAL AID (INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS: SKIP TO STEP 3 ON NEXT PAGE)

™ SUBMIT YOUR FAFSA BY FEBRUARY 1 | WWW.STUDENTAID.GOV

We are committed to helping you and your family understand and manage the investment of a Seattle University education. We consider all applicants for merit scholarships at the time of admission and we encourage admitted students to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for additional financial aid options such as grants, low-cost student loans and work-study. While it’s not required, we highly recommend filing the FAFSA.

• File your FAFSA for the 2023-2024 academic year on STUDENTAID.GOV starting December 31, 2023. When specifying the schools to receive your FAFSA results, include SU’s federal school code (003790).

• For priority Seattle University institutional aid consideration, submit a completed FAFSA by February 1, 2024, for Fall 2024.

• Washington residents who are undocumented or ineligible for federal financial aid due to immigration status may explore potential state aid by submitting the Washington Application for State Financial Aid (WASFA). Visit WSAC.WA.GOV/WASFA for more information.

Typically, fall quarter applicants who meet the February 1 priority deadline receive financial aid notification by late March. Students will be notified to view the Redhawk Admissions Portal when their personalized financial aid award is available. To review the total cost of a Seattle University education, visit SEATTLEU.EDU/COSTS.

SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES OR APPEALS

In case of significant changes in your financial circumstances not reflected on the FAFSA/WASFA, contact Student Financial Services after you receive your initial offer. Additional documentation may be required. For more information about financial aid applications or the awarding process, visit SEATTLEU.EDU/FINANCIAL-AID or contact Student Financial Services at financialservices@seattleu.edu or 206-220-8020.

WINTER AND SPRING QUARTER APPLICANTS

If enrolling in winter or spring quarters, complete your financial aid file 60 days before classes start to be considered for Seattle University institutional aid. FAFSAs filed after 60 days out will be considered for remaining financial aid.
