Safety tips to keep you safe
Never leave valuables exposed in your car
Make sure your car is locked, by manually testing the doors
Never push the lock button as you ’ re walking away.
Keep all valuables close at hand and in your sight.
When paying for your bill please ask the waitron to bring the swipe machine to your table to complete the transaction, keep all bank cards in sight at all times.
Don’t allow your card to be removed from your sight
Don’t accept help from strangers or give out your pin, not even to persons claiming to be bank officials
Lock valuables in the in-room safes provided. Ensure your luggage remains locked when you leave the room.

We present stats from our services and performance over the past few months. Sea Point City Improvement District
Safety & Security remains our primary mandate, and we have managed and averted numerous security situations. With the help of our LPR Camera network, Tactical Vehicle and Security Service Providers, our response is almost immediate
Stats for the period June to Oct 2023, was as follows:
1932 Incidents
12 Arrests for various crimes
7544 Traffic Fines
17.8 million
Vehicles Tracked
Keeping our Sea Point Clean is an important mandate we continue to uphold.
Stats for the period June to Oct 2023, was as follows:
117.59 Tons or 16 711 bags of waste collected
We also did: Graffiti Removal, and Storm water drain cleaning to prevent flooding
Our 3rd mandate is to support and help the less fortunate The CID Field Officer assisted in providing a range of services
In the period June to Oct 2023, we have assisted over 114 People admitted to shelters 9 Reunifications
We have updated our website - giving you access to updates, latest news as well as showcasing businesses in the Sea Point CID area Our monthly visitor stats are increasing daily.
We also offer paid advertising options, both on our website or on our Quarterly Newsletter. Please enquire by visiting our contacts page at www.seapointcid.co.za
We support events and initiatives in the Sea Point CID area, such as the Regent Road Festival.
This fosters business growth, as well as increasing the visitor numbers in our beautiful Sea Point area.
