Pastor Paul

Before he retired, he played a significant role in the Haitian church community

Pastor Paul Magny is a remarkable individual with a rich history and deep spiritual connection. Originally from Pilate, Haiti, he immigrated to America in 1969 and embarked on a journey of faith and service. His preaching journey began in 1971, marking the start of a lifelong commitment to spreading the message of the Gospel.

In 1969, Pastor Paul Magny founded the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Huntington Station, New York, providing a spiritual home and community for countless individuals. His dedication to his congregation and his faith remained unwavering throughout his tenure.

Tragically, Pastor Paul Magny experienced the loss of his first wife, Paulette, four years ago. Their enduring love resulted in the blessing of three children: Sheila, Esdras, and David, who

likely carry forward their father’s legacy of faith and service.

Despite the challenges posed

by the COVID-19 pandemic, Pastor Paul Magny reluctantly retired from preaching, demonstrating his commitment to the safety and well-being of his congregation. His involvement as the director of the Echo Evangelico International Band speaks to his passion for music and its role in worship. Leading this ensemble for over 13 years, Pastor Paul

Magny contributed to spreading the Gospel through the universal language of music, performing in various cities across the United States.

Among his favorite passages in the Bible are Psalms 23 and 51, reflecting his appreciation for the comfort and redemption offered by scripture. Additionally, his affinity for the timeless hymn “Amazing Grace” underscores his deep spiritual connection and appreciation for the grace of God.

Through his preaching, music ministry, and community leadership, Pastor Paul Magny has undoubtedly touched the lives of many, leaving an indelible mark on both his congregation and the broader community.

Magny’s message to the world: “Let us work together as the people of God and hoping that we are here for a period of time in our pilgrimage and some day we’ll have to face the Lord and give an account for what we’ve done”

Pastor Paul

Anvan li te pran retrèt li, li te jwe yon wòl enpòtan nan kominote legliz ayisyen an

Pastè Paul Magny se yon moun remakab ki gen yon istwa rich ak yon koneksyon espirityèl pwofon. Li te soti nan Pilat, Ayiti, li te imigre nan Amerik an 1969 e li te antre nan yon vwayaj lafwa ak sèvis. Vwayaj predikasyon li a te kòmanse an 1971, ki te make kòmansman yon angajman pou tout lavi pou gaye mesaj Levanjil la.

An 1969, Pastè Paul Magny te fonde Cornerstone Baptist Church nan Huntington Station, New York, ki te bay yon kay espirityèl ak yon kominote pou anpil moun. Devouman li anvè kongregasyon li a ak lafwa li te rete san okenn konsyans pandan tout tan li.

Trajik, Pastè Paul Magny te fè eksperyans pèt premye madanm li, Paulette, sa gen kat ane. Lanmou dirab yo a te lakòz twa timoun te beni: Sheila, Esdras, ak David, ki gen anpil chans pou yo pote eritaj papa yo nan lafwa ak sèvis.

Malgre defi pandemi COVID-19 la te koze, Pastè Paul Magny te pran retrèt li nan predikasyon ak repiyans, li montre angajman

li pou sekirite ak byennèt kongregasyon li a.

Patisipasyon li kòm direktè Band Entènasyonal Echo

Evangelico pale de pasyon li pou mizik ak wòl li nan adorasyon an. Dirijan ansanbl sa a pandan plis pase 13 ane, Pastè Paul Magny te kontribye nan gaye Levanjil la atravè langaj inivèsèl mizik la, li te jwe nan divès vil atravè peyi Etazini. Pami pasaj li pi renmen nan Bib la, gen Sòm 23 ak 51, ki montre apresyasyon li genyen pou rekonfò ak redanmsyon ekriti yo ofri. Anplis de sa, afinite li pou kantik intemporel “Amazing Grace” souliye koneksyon espirityèl pwofon li ak apresyasyon pou favè Bondye a. Atravè predikasyon li, ministè mizik, ak lidèchip nan kominote a, Pastè Paul Magny te san dout touche lavi anpil moun, li kite yon mak ki pa efase sou kongregasyon li a ak pi laj kominote a.

Mesaj Magny te bay mond lan: “Ann travay ansanm antanke pèp Bondye a epi espere ke nou isit la pou yon peryòd tan nan pelerinaj nou an e yon jou nou pral oblije fè fas ak Senyè a epi rann kont pou sa nou te genyen. fè”

EXCELLENT HAITIAN FOOD

Nothing less than a delightful culinary experience!

Clothide Geneus, originally from Pilate, Haiti, had a diverse background that blended her love for education and her family’s culinary roots. Starting as a Kindergarten teacher in Haiti, Clothide eventually moved to America with her four children, where she initially found work as a Certified Nurse’s Assistant. However, her passion for the food industry, influenced by her mother’s restaurant business back home, remained strong. Teaming up with her husband Gary, Clothide decided to

pursue their shared dream of owning a restaurant. In 137 Broadway, Huntington Station, New York, they opened Akra Haitian Deli and Caribbean Food. Their restaurant quickly became a hub for authentic Haitian and Caribbean cuisine, offering a taste of home to their community.

Clothide and Gary attribute their success not only to hard work and dedication but also to their faith. They attend Church of God in Huntington Station, where they find spiritual sup-

port and guidance from Bishop Georges Franck Clothide loves to sing and hear the word of God.

Despite challenges along the way, Clothide and Gary have been grateful for the opportunity to run their business for the past six years. As they look to the future, they are excited about the potential growth and expansion of their restaurant, eager to continue serving their community with delicious food and warm hospitality.

BON MANJE AYISYEN

Kòmanse kòm yon pwofesè jadendanfan an Ayiti, Clothide evantyèlman demenaje ale rete nan Amerik ak kat pitit li yo, kote okòmansman li te jwenn travay kòm yon Asistan enfimyè sètifye. Sepandan, pasyon li pou endistri manje a, enfliyanse pa biznis restoran manman l lakay li, te rete fò.

Mete tèt ansanm ak mari l Gary,

Clothide te deside pouswiv rèv pataje yo genyen pou posede yon restoran. Nan 137 Broadway, Huntington Station, New York, yo louvri Akra Haitian Deli and Caribbean Food.

Restoran yo te vin byen vit yon sant pou cuisine natif natal ayisyen ak Karayib la, ki ofri yon gou nan kay nan kominote yo.

Clothide ak Gary atribiye siksè yo pa sèlman ak travay di ak devouman, men tou ak lafwa yo. Yo ale nan Legliz Bondye a nan Huntington Station, kote yo jwenn sipò espirityèl ak konsèy

nan men Bishop Georges Franck renmen chante ak tande pawòl Bondye a.

Malgre defi sou wout la, Clothide ak Gary te rekonesan pou opòtinite pou dirije biznis yo pou sis dènye ane yo. Pandan y ap gade nan lavni, yo eksite pou kwasans potansyèl ak ekspansyon restoran yo, yo anvi kontinye sèvi kominote yo ak manje bon gou ak Ospitalite cho.

A Plea For Unity

In the intricate tapestry of humanity, the bonds that bind us together are often stronger when forged from shared experiences and struggles. My fellow Haitian brothers and sisters, we stand at a crossroads where unity is not only an option but a necessity. Together, we build a resistance that has withstood time, history, and adversity.

In the face of challenges, be it natural disasters or socio-political turmoil, our collective strength has always been our beacon of hope. It is in our unity that we find solace, support, and power to make change. As Evangelist Jean Montil eloquently reminds us, our strength increases when we stand together as one.

Through collaboration, compassion, and unwavering solidarity, we can build a brighter future for ourselves and the generations to come. Let’s listen to the call of Evangelist Jean Montil and respond to our commitment to others, because unity is our greatest strength.

Yours truly,

Yon lapriyè pou inite

Nan tapisri konplike nan limanite, lyen ki mare nou ansanm yo souvan pi fò lè fòje nan eksperyans pataje ak lit. Frè ak sè ayisyen parèy mwen yo, nou kanpe nan yon kalfou kote inite se non sèlman yon opsyon men se yon nesesite. Ansanm, nou bati yon rezistans ki te reziste tan, istwa, ak advèsite.

An fas defi, kit se katastwòf natirèl oswa boulvès sosyo-politik, fòs kolektif nou an te toujou yon limyè espwa nou.

Lè nou kanpe zepòl a zepòl, nou ka simonte nenpòt obstak ki oze kanpe nan wout nou.

Atravè kolaborasyon, konpasyon, ak solidarite inebranlabl, nou ka bati yon avni ki pi briyan pou tèt nou ak jenerasyon k ap vini yo. Ann koute apèl Evanjelis Jean Montil epi reponn ak angajman nou anvè lòt moun, paske inite se pi gwo fòs nou.

Ou reponn, Evanjelis

Jean Montil

Meaningful Verses For Us

1 Corinthians 1:10, 11, and 12

10 I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought.

11 My brothers and sisters, some from Chloe’s household have informed me that there are quarrels among you.

12 What I mean is this: One of you says, “I follow Paul”; another, “I follow Apollos”; another, “I follow Cephas ”; still another, “I follow Christ.”

Acts 4:32

All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had.

Colossians 3:13

Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.

John 17:23

I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.

Vèsè Siyifikatif Pou Nou

1 Korentyen 1:10, 11, ak 12

10 M’ap mande nou, frè m’ yo, nan non Jezikri, Seyè nou an, pou nou tout dakò youn ak lòt nan sa n’ap di a, pou pa gen divizyon nan mitan nou, men pou nou ini parfe nan lide ak nan panse. .

11 Frè m ak sè m yo, gen kèk moun lakay Kloe ki fè m konnen gen yon diskisyon nan mitan nou.

12 Men sa mwen vle di: Youn nan nou di: Mwen suiv Pòl. yon lòt, “Mwen swiv Apolòs”; yon lòt, “Mwen swiv Sefas “; yon lòt ankò, “Mwen suiv Kris la.”

Travay 4:32

Tout kwayan yo te fè yon sèl nan kè ak lespri. Pa gen moun ki te deklare ke nenpòt nan byen yo se pwòp yo, men yo pataje tout sa yo te genyen.

Kolosyen 3:13

Sipoze youn ak lòt epi padone youn lòt si youn nan nou gen yon doleyans kont yon moun. Padonnen jan Seyè a te padonnen nou.

Jan 17:23

Mwen nan yo e ou menm nan mwen—pou yo ka mennen nan inite konplè. Lè sa a, mond lan pral konnen ou te voye m ‘epi ou te renmen yo menm jan ou te renmen m’.
