I. Object Study An electric transformer is a really small object and arrangement is taken so as to concentrate the drawing within a small range at the center of the paper so that viewers can easily focus onto it. In addition, the construction lines are arranged into a circuit that represents the normal condition of it as an electric unit.
Though it is small, the inner structure of a transformer is highly sophisticated so the unfolded drawing is arranged into interconnected component parts. The overall layout resembles an explosion both to indicate the abnormal state when it is disassembled and to remind the viewers of its inner complexity.

Beyond the category of qualitative and quantitative reasoning, another approach of perceiving the world is through description and I find this kind of rendition with interventions of both laws and the mind’s impressions stands closer to my internal nature.
