Driver of the Month Nomination Rules

Sharon Koch 4-12-40 to 8-28-20 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sharon Koch, on August 28, 2020, at the age of 80. Sharon and her husband Dave started K&J Trucking, Inc., in Sioux Falls in 1979. She was very proud of her family business, noting almost all of the family members worked there at one point through their 40+ years in business and counting. She always said that drivers are the very best part of the trucking industry, boasting that K&J had the best ones. More than anything, Sharon loved her family. They could do no wrong in her eyes. She always kept tabs on them and prayed for their safety and happiness. Even after her retirement she continued to be involved in the business, congratulating drivers and employees on their anniversaries and life events. She will be greatly missed by her entire K&J team and the trucking community.

Memorial Contributions can be made to the South Dakota Trucking Foundation in honor of those lost.
