UMC is off to one of their best starts in program history. The Golden Eagles have reached three conference wins the quickest in program history. In addition, UMC has never had three conference wins in their first six games and have not had three conference wins overall since the 2011-12 season. They have also not had five wins at break since the 2010-11 season. UMC went into break after snapping a nearly seven-year drought against rival Bemidji State with a win Dec. 19 over the Beavers.
