Independence Day We Must Not Forget Why We Celebrate It

We ​live in a day of age where we see our elected officials & Major News Networks & Social Media platforms trying to destroy the meaning of Independence Day to the point last year we Saw Face Book remove a post & suspend a person for sharing our declaration of Independence saying it was hate speech which we all know is protected by our most sacred document The Constitution.

Which leads us into Censorship & rewriting & changing of our history. They do this through fear & intimidation acting like Cyber-Bullying & undermining our liberties, rights & our very values, like we are some second rate citizen that needs to be controlled and has no rights. But yet they can & do inforce other countries laws but refuse to recognize ours. So many of these companies/corporations are & have been built right here in the United States employing American Citizens.

We just watch last week how MSNBC held the Democratic Debates but threatened anyone that streamed it or shared it with copyright infringement.

Basically saying we do not live in a free society nor do we have the right to a free election process. We have witnessed town hall process as well as the

debates being only open to that parties constituents not allowing anyone with a different view or opinion to take part, to the point baring reporters that will ask honest questions based on facts. These very actions undermine our very Liberties & Freedoms. The very thing we Are getting ready to Celebrate on this Independence Day. I want you to think about this, we have people running from social media platforms trying to find one that wont to censor their opinions & views but only to find that it is happening their maybe not at first but eventually it does as we have seen over and over again. Many of which have been censored or even banned, this is called oppression, intimidation, bullying & sowing the seeds of fear.

We have seen our elected officials tell these social media platforms that they need to censor people which violates the very oath of office that they have sworn to uphold & protect; the Constitution. We have also seen them push to strip us Americans of our 2nd amendment rights even further pushing take our rights away. They have forgotten that they are our Representatives. What we see coming from our elected officials is the very thing that started the Revolutionary war, A Government that is no longer for the People! They have passed laws that strip our history from being taught to our children and forcing indoctrination into our school systems that teach false history through common core. Their crimes are too many to list at this point & would distract us from what this article is about or does it because that is what they are trying to strip from every American citizen & that is your Independence our Freedoms & our Liberties the very things they are supposed to be upholding but instead they infringe open all those things!

We have News Networks spreading lies inspiring violence & hate within our own country even now to the point of forcing & calling for more censorship.

We all know that all these major so called News Networks only report things that are based on the party line that their company supports & will never give you true honest reporting when it comes to real News, to the point where now they have to make up fake reports, fact facts and lie to the American People. They have become one of the biggest influencers of our Elections but never held accountable.

We have an Education system that is no longer educating our children but instead indoctrinating them with false history teaching them that the Boston

Tea Party never happened, refusing to teach them how all our Branches of Government works & what Branch is responsible for what. But it is ok to teach our children at the age of 6, 7, 8 years of age it’s ok to be a different gender when we all know that shouldn’t be even taught inside our school systems, but yet that is more important than teaching real American History. We have seen Schools allow Islam ideology to be taught to our childeren but no other religious ideology is allowed. For the schools that refuse to teach Common Core they are refused funding from the state & federal levels, we have seen teachers fired for trying to teach American history or for refusing to teach young children about gender identity. They have made it so hard to even Home School your children & if you refuse to teach the Common Core they will not even allow you to homeschool your children.

Parents have lost the right to be Parents to their own Children it’s now the State & Schools that have control of your children when it should be the other way around you can't even punish your child without fear of having them taken or put in jail. The Education of our children is so Important and is the major problem we have and our facing now with the young voters not knowing their history being taught to listen to the news and never question anything or let alone have common sense…

This is not what our Founding Fathers fought for, nor is it what they ever wanted for our Country. That is why they wrote the Constitution the way they did & why they said these rights shall not be infringed opwan or changed!!!

We see Taxation without Representation everyday. We are being taxed for everything but never given the right to vote on those taxes. Politicians campaign promising not to raise taxes till the get reelected and what's the first thing they do yeah thats right vote for raising our taxes.

This is why it is so important that we know our history and not allow it to be removed or rewriting. For when we lose our history we will repeat that history and we are now watching that happen right before our eyes, we are seeing exactly what the British did and what other dictators have done since then oppressing the people and taking their Freedoms.

We must not allow this to happen anymore, we must remember what our forefathers said and why they fought for our Independence & wrote our Constitution.

Did They Run? No they took a Stand and fought back using every tool that they could. We in this day of age have more tools and more ways to be heard

but yet we feel we need to run. Many Feel that taking a stand is futile and will not work, but yet here we are getting ready to Celebrate our Independence Day, why because our Forefathers took a stand and do not forget why we Celebrate Independence Day for if we do then we will lose our History and everything else that they won and created.

MR. PRESIDENT: No man thinks more highly than I do of the patriotism, as well as abilities, of the very worthy gentlemen who have just addressed the House. But different men often see the same subject in different lights; and, therefore, I hope it will not be thought disrespectful to those gentlemen if, entertaining as I do, opinions of a character very opposite to theirs, I shall speak forth my sentiments freely, and without reserve. This is no time for ceremony. The question before the House is one of awful moment to this country.

For my own part, I consider it as nothing less than a question of freedom or slavery; and in proportion to the magnitude of the subject ought to be the freedom of the debate. It is only in this way that we can hope to arrive at truth, and fulfil the great responsibility which we hold to God and our country. Should I keep back my opinions at such a time, through fear of giving offence, I should consider myself as guilty of treason towards my country, and of an act of disloyalty toward the majesty of heaven, which I revere above all earthly kings.

Mr. President, it is natural to man to indulge in the illusions of hope. We are apt to shut our eyes against a painful truth, and listen to the song of that siren till she transforms us into beasts. Is this the part of wise men, engaged in a great and arduous struggle for liberty? Are we disposed to be of the number of those who, having eyes, see not, and, having ears, hear not, the things which so nearly concern their temporal salvation? For my part, whatever anguish of spirit it may cost, I am willing to know the whole truth; to know the worst, and to provide for it.

I have but one lamp by which my feet are guided; and that is the lamp of experience. I know of no way of judging of the future but by the past. And judging by the past, I wish to know what there has been in the conduct of the British ministry for the last ten years, to justify those hopes with which gentlemen have been pleased to solace themselves, and the House?

Is it that insidious smile with which our petition has been lately received? Trust it not, sir; it will prove a snare to your feet. Suffer not yourselves to be betrayed with a kiss. Ask yourselves how this gracious reception of our petition comports with these war-like

preparations which cover our waters and darken our land. Are fleets and armies necessary to a work of love and reconciliation? Have we shown ourselves so unwilling to be reconciled, that force must be called in to win back our love? Let us not deceive ourselves, sir. These are the implements of war and subjugation; the last arguments to which kings resort. I ask, gentlemen, sir, what means this martial array, if its purpose be not to force us to submission?

Can gentlemen assign any other possible motive for it? Has Great Britain any enemy, in this quarter of the world, to call for all this accumulation of navies and armies? No, sir, she has none. They are meant for us; they can be meant for no other. They are sent over to bind and rivet upon us those chains which the British ministry have been so long forging. And what have we to oppose to them? Shall we try argument? Sir, we have been trying that for the last ten years. Have we anything new to offer upon the subject? Nothing. We have held the subject up in every light of which it is capable; but it has been all in vain. Shall we resort to entreaty and humble supplication? What terms shall we find which have not been already exhausted? Let us not, I beseech you, sir, deceive ourselves. Sir, we have done everything that could be done, to avert the storm which is now coming on. We have petitioned; we have remonstrated; we have supplicated; we have prostrated ourselves before the throne, and have implored its interposition to arrest the tyrannical hands of the ministry and Parliament.

Our petitions have been slighted; our remonstrances have produced additional violence and insult; our supplications have been disregarded; and we have been spurned, with contempt, from the foot of the throne. In vain, after these things, may we indulge the fond hope of peace and reconciliation. There is no longer any room for hope. If we wish to be free² if we mean to preserve inviolate those inestimable privileges for which we have been so long contending²if we mean not basely to abandon the noble struggle in which we have been so long engaged, and which we have pledged ourselves never to abandon until the glorious object of our contest shall be obtained, we must fight! I repeat it, sir, we must fight! An appeal to arms and to the God of Hosts is all that is left us!

They tell us, sir, that we are weak; unable to cope with so formidable an adversary. But when shall we be stronger? Will it be the next week, or the next year? Will it be when we are totally disarmed, and when a British guard shall be stationed in every house? Shall we gather strength by irresolution and inaction? Shall we acquire the means of effectual resistance, by lying supinely on our backs, and hugging the delusive phantom of hope, until our enemies shall have bound us hand and foot? Sir, we are not weak if we make a proper use of those means which the God of nature hath placed in our power. Three millions of people, armed in the holy cause of liberty, and in such a country as that which we possess, are invincible by any force which our enemy can send against us. Besides, sir, we shall not fight our battles alone. There is a just God who presides over the destinies of nations; and who will raise up friends to fight our battles for us. The battle, sir, is not to the strong alone; it is to the vigilant, the active, the brave. Besides, sir, we have no election. If we were base enough to desire it, it

is now too late to retire from the contest. There is no retreat but in submission and slavery!

Our chains are forged! Their clanking may be heard on the plains of Boston! The war is inevitable²and let it come! I repeat it, sir, let it come.

It is in vain, sir, to extenuate the matter. Gentlemen may cry, Peace, Peace²but there is no peace. The war is actually begun! The next gale that sweeps from the north will bring to our ears the clash of resounding arms! Our brethren are already in the field! Why stand we here idle? What is it that gentlemen wish? What would they have? Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? Forbid it, Almighty God! I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty or give me death!

Let us not forget this as we move forward and let us once more Unite and mend the seeds of division that our politicians have created. Let us Celebrate Our Independence by once more remembering what it means to be an American and let no one infringe upon our Liberties & our Constitution…

Remember Remember let us never forget what it means to be United and what happens when we are divided. Use the Tools you have available, use the true weapon that they fear the most and that is your voice before it is forever silenced because that is their end goal, do not forget why we have an Independence Day take time on this day to tell the stories of old and let the fireworks be the inspiration of our futures as they represent the sacrifice made by so many who have laid their lives down for each of our Liberties & Freedoms protecting & defending our Sovereignty both foreign & Domestic. Become the Ambassadors & Stewards that this country so desperately needs For we all are the Son’s & Daughters of Liberty and we will not bow down to those that oppress & try to take these Liberties & values away from us.
