SBI annually provides thousands of hours of training opportunities either in-person or virtually for thousands of public entity employees across South Dakota. We will continue to expand our training opportunities to ensure you have the most up-to-date trainings on the most pressing issues facing local governments today. Martinec Departs SDML Staff
At the end of February, Lori Martinec resigned from her position with the South Dakota Municipal League staff, where she served as the Director of Research and Training for the past seven years.
“Lori has been a star on our staff for the last seven years, and while we are very sad to see her leave, we wish her the best of luck in her new position,” said SDML Executive Director Yvonne Taylor.
Martinec was named the new Opioid Program Director for the SD Department of Health based out of Pierre, SD.
The vacant Director of Research and Training position opened for applications in early February. The position is open until fi lled, and the fi rst review of applications took place Feb. 25. Visit www. sdmunicipalleague.org/jobs for more information.
