We aim to ensure that each of our students is able to complete at least one industry placement. This hands on experience helps to bring your learning to life and demonstrates to employers that you are able to carry out the tasks that you’re being taught in class.

Working abroad In 2017, we secured funding to enable our students to undertake a four-week industry placement trip to Seville, Spain. We will help you get an industry placement We encourage you to source and secure your own placement in a business or industry you are interested in. If you can’t secure a placement we can help. We work with many different businesses and will help you contact and secure your place.

The Travel and Tourism courses are fantastic. The students that we’ve worked with came with a tremendous amount of knowledge about the tourism industry, and were a welcomed addition to the team during busy periods. We recognise the importance and relevance of work experience, so we are proud to work with the college.
