A virtual happy hour is most successful with an activity such as a game (trivia or scavenger hunt) or a cocktail lesson or tasting. To facilitate conversation, try to keep the group small with no more than ten people. Try for an early evening start and keep the program short and sweet! Virtual Leadership & Brainstorming Sessions Help build career skills with virtual leadership and brainstorming sessions that aren’t industry specific. Hire a facilitator to ask interesting questions or lead a discussion. Popular topics include: developing an elevator pitch for Zoom, building your business, and marketing shifts.

You can get creative together and invite your colleagues to an outdoor art class or partner with a local yoga studio or gym for an outdoor class. Not your cup of tea? Explore the local area by going for a hike while wearing masks! Celebrate The Holidays Get together over the holidays by hosting a Halloween Trunk or Treat, Thanksgiving Pie Party, or organize a Christmas Give-Back for a local charity.
