The journalistic content and subjects dealt with of the monthly Cicloturismo are aimed at the vast cycling public: long distance cyclists, amateurs, excursionists and tourists. Itineraries, routes, technical aspects, specialist food, preparation, accounts of Gran Fondo events (Cicloturismo is the patron of its own racetrack, the Prestigio which has now become a legend) and promotion of areas ideal for cycle tourism. This is the main content aimed at encouraging all the readers of CT to use the bicycle as the perfect way to enjoy sport, leisure time and holidays. Cicloturismo is issued monthly (12 issues per year, also by subscription) at all Italian newsagents.
The pocket size inserts provided as an extra by the editors are much appreciated by readers. Each insert, which deals with a single subject and concerns specific technical aspects, provide promotional exposure aimed at companies and small businesses.
