Out of Stock Policy Details January 2025

The information below is an explanation as to how as a business we plan to manage an order, if part of the order is not in stock. This information will not alter and will be applied to all orders received from the 1 of January 2025.

1.Why do we run out of stock?
We aim as a business to never run out of stock. We schedule our orders 16 weeks in advance and plan to hold 10 weeks' stock at any one time. As our business has grown in the last 12 months, the usage of key lines has almost doubled over a matter of weeks, leading to out-of-stocks. Our ultimate aim is to eradicate out-of-stocks; however, we want to have a clear policy outlining how we operate as a business should out-of-stocks occur.
In the event that items are out of stock, we will make every e ort to notify customers promptly and o er suitable alternatives where possible.
2.We will endeavour to contact you before 2:30 PM on the date of the order if we are unable to process your order completely
When an order is received that cannot be completed, we will contact you by 2:30 PM at the latest to advise you.
3.Once contact has been made, if required, the order will be placed onto our backorder tracker
The items that were not in stock at the time you placed the order will be recorded. When they come back into stock, a member of our internal sales team will email you to inform you and ask if you still require the items.
4.We do not automatically place out-of-stock orders onto our system. When the items are back in stock, a member of our internal sales team will email you to confirm whether the items are still required.
We will not dispatch the products without informing you, as we want to ensure you still require the goods and are placing the order at the most competitive pricing rates.
Backorder Allocation: Items placed on backorder are not managed on a time-ordered queue system. Instead, they are allocated on a first-to-respond basis once we notify customers that the items are back in stock.

5. Our Pricing Policy is based on the value of goods we deliver
To eliminate any confusion, when we email you to inform you of items coming back into stock, these items will be at your standard rates unless they are built into larger stock orders. We cannot dispatch single-piece items at quantity rates.
Important Note:
Regardless of any items being out of stock, the minimum order value requirements based on the delivery area postcode must still be adhered to. Customers are responsible for ensuring their orders meet the minimum value threshold applicable to their area, even if substitutions are not available
6. Invoice queries
With the clarification of our processes we aim to:
a. Eradicate delivering backorder items to you when you no longer need them.
b. Reduce invoice queries where goods are expected at volume prices but invoiced at single-unit prices.
