Ceramic Structured Packing in India| S-cube Mass Transfer Ceramic surfaces can produce extremely thin liquid films. Turbulent fluid flow and tortuous vapor flow routes promote the mixing of liquid and vapor with low-pressure drop. These are the reasons why our ceramic structured packing has a mass transfer efficiency similar to metal packing. Meanwhile, they are resistant to corrosion and higher temperatures than metal packing. The surface structure of ceramic packing can promote its wetting and help maintain a minimum of liquid grip. Thus, the chance of the system being overheated, polymerized, and cocked may be minimized. This type of ceramic structured packing has applications of diverters, flue gas coolers, HCL absorbers, CL2 / SIO2 buttons. Ceramic structured packing has similar structure with grid structured and currently replaces random ceramics packing’s in many process applications Excellent Features:
Excellent surface wetting ability, larger mass transfer area, and higher separation efficiency owing to the special surface structure High compressive strength Available specific surface area between 64m2/m3 and 500m2/m3 Little magnifying effect More fields/conditions to be applicable Ceramic Structured Applications Distillations and Absorption of strong corrosive mixtures Type
