Dive courses in Andaman

Swimming is mandatory to enroll in scuba dive courses. You have to pass a 200 meters swimming test and 300 meters snorkeling and float test to qualify for dive courses. A beginner scuba diver can get certification in a scuba diver course or open water diver course. Scuba diver course certifies you up to 12 meters of dive depth while open water diver is 18 meters certification level.

A person already completed an open water diver course can join advanced open water, deep diving specialty, night diving, and various specialty courses. Popular dive courses in Andaman Scuba diver course: It is a beginner-level dive course and certifies you up to 12 meters of depth. The course includes 2 dives, one shore dive and one deep dive, and takes 2 days to complete. The Scuba diver course includes both theory and practical sessions. A dive instructor is assigned to help you to learn dive courses. The course costs INR 12500 per person with all taxes and including certification costs.

Open water diver course: The OWD course includes 6 dives out of which 2 shore dives and 4 deep dives. 2 shore dives are conducted at the Nemo Reef dive site and 4 deep dives are conducted at Tribe Gate, Juvis, Red Piller, and the Wall dive sites respectively. The course certifies you up to 18 meters of dive depth and takes 4 days to complete the course.

During the course, you get to learn 20 skills including perfect navigation and buoyancy.

The OWD course costs INR 27000 per person including all taxes and certification costs.

Advanced open water diver course: The AOWD course is a 3 days program and includes 5 deep dives. The course also includes one night dive and certifies you up to 30 meters of dive depth. The AOWD course costs INR 25000 per person including certification costs. During the course, you get to learn multiple skills and practical sessions under the supervision of a dive instructor.
