Pablo Mahave-Veglia SEPT. 9 | World renown cellist

World-renown cellist Pablo Mahave-Veglia, a former professor at St. Cloud State, performs “Not so Alone,� a recital of works for solo cello, electronics and video, to mark the opening of the second annual Creative Art Series. Nate Bliton will assist the performance. FREE music event presented by the Department of Music.

Tim Miller

Internationally-acclaimed solo performance artist, Tim Miller will perform “Lay of the Land.� His creative work as a performer and writer explores the artistic, spiritual and political topography of his identity as a gay man. FREE theatre event presented by the Department of Theatre & Film Studies and Department of Communication Studies.

Ensemble U: will presents a concert of music featuring world premier music, Electro-acoustic Music, Estonian music and music commissioned by Ensemble U: to perform at SCSU and at the Third Practice Festival of Electro-acoustic Music. FREE music event presented by the Department of Music.

Seripop

JAN. 21 | Art Performance/Installation Time TBA., Kiehle Gallery

Chloe Lum and Yannick Desranleau work together under the Seripop name to design album covers, prints, books and illustrations. Based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, their screen printed work investigates the relationship between the materials of fabric and paper. FREE art event presented by the Department of Art.
