“Are you ready to change me?”, this question started the fantastic story between Cristina Chiabotto and Tagliati X il Successo Team. A story full of optimism, trust and expectations which will last throughout 2014 at least. She is the dazzling testimonial for Screen and Tagliati X il Successo who − with her characterizing charm − decided to renew her look.

Ten years after conquering the title of Miss Italia, this gorgeous Piemontese has come a long way: she placed first in Dancing with the Stars 2006 italian edition, where she met her current partner Fabio Fulco; she anchored many TV shows such as Le Iene, Festivalbar, Scherzi a parte, Controcampo, Tacco 12... si nasce!.

She modeled, participated in spots, acted in theaters, worked as a radio speaker, and was even promoter of her beloved Juventus Team on Jtv. She is sparkling, intelligent, beautiful and Screen could not resist her beautiful catching smile!

Desire for renewal: even when you are beautiful, with long hair, you might get bored of your look. Yet, before deciding on a haircut, it is important to rely on professionals who have the right “vision”.

Our testimonial − due to her work − needed to have a chameleonic style. We studied a haircut for her with different dimensions, with various lengths within the layers, which we realized through T-Line B Level technique, A-Mowe, B-Mowe and B-Tech scissors. What we obtained was a style with a strong, firm, classy yet jaunty look, both with straight and lightly wavy hair, which gave Cristina a new light, without “distorting” her personality. Finally, we lit up her natural color with front lightening through the Ruffle technique. Judge for yourself… we find her unique, just as a sapphire.

Ganas de renovación: incluso siendo guapa, con pelo largo, se puede cansar una. Pero es importante, antes de cortarse el pelo, ponerse en las manos de profesionales que posean la justa “visión”.

Nuestra imagen, por necesidades laborales, precisaba un estilo camaleónico. Para ella hemos estudiado un corte caracterizado por varias dimensiones y varios largos en el interior de la zona escalada, que hemos realizado con la técnica T-Line B Level, tijeras A-Mowe, B-Mowe y B-Tech. Ésto nos ha permitido conseguir - tanto con un un look liso como con otro ligeramente ondulado – un estilo fuerte, decidido, de gran clase pero travieso, proporcionándole una nueva luz, sin desnaturalizar su personalidad. Por último, hemos iluminado su color natural con unos aclarados en la zona anterior realizados con la técnica Ruffle. Juzgad vosotros mismos…a nosotros nos parece única, como un zafiro.

Collaborators’ Contest A golpes de cepillo y horquillas: es así como se desafiaron los jóvenes colaboradores de Tagliati X il Successo durante el evento anual tradicionalmente dedicado a ellos. En particular, sorprendentes fueron los resultados del primer Best Upstyle colaboradores: los chicos no tuvieron miedo a experimentar, expresando libremente toda su creatividad y luciendo recogidos de alto nivel. En la cena de Gala el huésped de honor – concursante de la octava edición de Amici y ganador del 60° Festival de la Canción de Sanremo Valerio Scanu - enardeció los ánimos con su fantástica voz.

Al día siguiente tuvo lugar el show On the Road , inspirado en las nuevas tendencias del universo juvenil del área metropolitana.

Con el estilo new soft punk empezó el carrusel de cortes particulares, de colores fuertes: la unicidad del individuo es la protagonista absoluta, la transgresión punk se desnuda de los valores originales para hacerse más jocosa. Cortes limpios y nunca excesivos, con colores que enfatizan las líneas sin extremarlas, recogidos elegantes que recuerdan los iconos de la moda, nos cuentan la visión luxury-glamour de los estilistas Tagliati X il Successo. De particular relieve la figura del new dandy, que juega en la ambigüedad hombre-mujer, una elegancia retro con un gran cuidado de los detalles. Y todo ésto acompañado por la música en vivo de dos DJ’s que, como si estuvieran “on the road”, se desafiaron a golpes de claqué años 20, rock sinfónico y melódico y un Michael Bublé pastoso y refinado. De ésto estamos seguros: ¡los colaboradores regresaron a su casa llenos de nuevas ideas para la estación que viene!

Brush strokes and hairpins: this is how Tagliati X il Successo young collaborators challenged each other during the annual event traditionally dedicated to them. The results of the first Collaborators’ Best Upstyle were extremely striking: the participants had no fear of experimenting and set all their creativity free by presenting high-level hairdos. Valerio Scanu, competitor in Amici 8th edition and winner of Sanremo Festival 60th edition, participated to the Gala Dinner as the guest star, by warming everyone’s hearts with his wonderful voice.

The following day was dedicated to the show On the Road, inspired to new metropolitan trends of the youngster universe. The new soft punk style opened the parade of new original haircuts, characterized by strong colors: individual uniqueness rules, punk transgression softens its essential values by becoming more playful. Clean and non-excessive cuts, with colors emphasizing lines without exaggerating them, elegant hairstyles evoking fashion icons, which tell us about the luxury - glamour vision of Tagliati X il Successo stylists. The figure of new dandy emerged, playing on man-woman ambiguity, a vintage elegance with great care of details. The pulsing live music accompanying the event was performed by two DJs who, as if being “on the road”, faced each other with 20’s tip-tap beats, symphonic and melodic rock and a sophisticated and velvety Michael Bublé. One thing we are sure of: all collaborators returned home full of ideas for the upcoming season!

Event of the year

All in Milan to celebrate the traditional days dedicated to Tagliati X il Successo Salons Owners.

A flashing grand final, a succession of high-style surprises for over a thousand hairstylists coming from all over Italy, Spain, Portugal, Malta and Switzerland. The innovative Twist & Cut cutting technique was presented as world premiere by the International Artistic Team School Director Davide D’Ettorre. Fashion seminars and studies on scalp anomalies could not be missed, to underline company musts: high professionalism, specialization and constant training updates. A bit of healthy competitiveness leads to challenge and self-improvement: all this is proven by the success of traditional contests fashion haircut trophy and best upstyle dedicated to salon owners. During the Gala Dinner, the new advertising images for 2014 were presented: Screen hair haute couture communicates style and uniqueness.

Great amazement in the gala hall for the presentation of the new testimonial, rather of the two new testimonials, for 2014: Cristina Chiabotto for Tagliati X il Successo and Screen and her partner Fabio Fulco for Nubeà. A couple that fully represents us: beautiful, very beautiful, charming, professional and genuine.

A fashion awakening on the following morning: Carla and Enzo, hosts of the TV programs Ma come ti vesti? (Italian edition of What Not to Wear) and Shopping night on Real Time Channel granted their wise suggestions on style, in a funny and entertaining way. Enzo Miccio, famous wedding planner and Carla Gozzi, style coach, besides being two popular showbiz celebs, are experienced and qualified and it was a real pleasure listening to them.

Se estrenó la innovadora técnica de corte Twist & Cut, presentada por primera vez a nivel mundial por el International Artistic Team School Director Davide D’Ettorre. No podían faltar talleres de moda y ahondamientos sobre las anomalías del cuero cabelludo, para corroborar algunos puntos de fuerza de la empresa: alta profesionalidad, especialización y actualización formativa continua. Un tanto de sana competencia nos lleva a ponernos en juego y mejorarnos: lo demuestra el éxito de los tradicionales contests trofeo corte moda y best upstyle dedicados a los titulares. Durante la Cena de Gala se presentaron las nuevas imágenes publicitarias 2014. La alta moda-pelo Screen comunica estilo y unicidad.

13 SCREENing: the show Tagliati X il Successo Team, led by International Artistic Director Rocco Blasioli, put up a vision of the future taking inspiration from the past, with mechanics coming alive.The hairdos were on new amazons who abandoned their power in the name of sweetness. Men looked like technological and progressive fairy-tale princes: beard and moustache as key players, masculine details, always elegant but never extreme.

Self-confident women had no fear of daring through strong cuts and colors. Vania Barbieri, Look & Vision Director, presented the new line of Pure Crazy flashy dyes.

The costumes, all realized with recycled materials, raffia, jute and rope were smartly connected to electric and interactive chips; set designs were amazingly dynamic. As a closing scene, a tribute to Italy’s internationality that touched the audience: an image that we believe salon owners will cherish in their hearts all year long.

Los recogidos eran nuevas amazonas que han renunciado a la fuerza para la dulzura. Los hombres parecían unos príncipes de cuento tecnológicos y evolucionados: protagonistas barba y bigotes, detalles masculinos, elegantes pero nunca excesivos. Las mujeres, seguras de si mismas, no tuvieron miedo a osar, a través de cortes y colores fuertes. Vania Barbieri, Look & Vision Director, presentó la nueva línea de colores chillones Pure Crazy. A los trajes - todos realizados con materiales reciclados como rafia, yute y trama - se habían atado con sabiduría unos microchips eléctricos e interactivos, asombroso el dinamismo de los escenarios. Al final, un homenaje a la internacionalidad italiana que conmovió al público entero: una imagen que - de éso estamos seguros - los titulares guardarán en su corazón durante todo el año.

SEXTANTIO, WHERE TIME HAS STOPPED

We arrive in the village willing to leave city, chaos and work behind. We get off our car, it is bitter cold, some dirty snow spots are left on the road borders and a muffled silence surrounds us. What we see are ancient and romantic stone walls, stone houses, stone roads, and what remains of a Medicean tower after the earthquake in L’Aquila. A wooden sign indicates the reception. We have heard about this place before, they say it is for a sophisticated and demanding target, we wish so much for it to be cozy, we really need some rest. We go in and the only detail which reminds us of being in the 21st century is a grey printer, fundamental for scanning our documents. A big massive iron door-latch is our passé-partout for a leap back in time. A kind guy shows us the way through alleys. He opens a big wooden door and shows us our room. A welcoming squeaking and now we are sure about it: time has stopped. A high bed covered with hand-embroidered sheets and raw wool blankets. A glass jug with fresh water, the dim light of candles, a shower with water that seems to flow from the rocks, home-made soap and linen towels. The walls are made of stone, so is the floor, and the rest of the village. Yet the air is salutary, the room is warm and scented.

Technology is present, but we are happy we do not see it. We fall asleep with the feeling of already living a dream. In the morning we find the same muffled silence of the previous night, the odor of chimneys pervades the lanes. Breakfast is served in a cellar. Small wooden tables, a crackling fireplace, smiles of the other guests tasting jams, honey, cheeses, freshly baked bread… a homemade fruit juice brings us back of 25 years and a fresh-egg omelet revives our hearts and souls. We have a brief chat we a responsible who explains us that Santo Stefano di Sessanio dispersed hotel was born from an idea by Daniele Kihlgren.

Llegamos al pueblecito con el gran deseo de dejarnos la ciudad, el caos y el trabajo atrás. Bajamos del coche, el frío es cortante, hay restos de nieve sucia en los bordes de la calle y un silencio placentero. A nuestro alrededor antiguas y románticas murallas de piedra, casas de piedra, calles de piedra, y lo que queda de la “torre medicea”, después del seísmo de L’Aquila. Un cartel de madera indica la recepción.

Hemos oido hablar de este lugar, dicen que es para un público refinado y exigente, esperamos de todo corazón que sea acogedor, de verdad tenemos ganas de descansar. Entramos y el único detalle que nos recuerda que estamos en el siglo 21 es una impresora gris, indispensable para escanear nuestros documentos. Un gran pestillo de hierro macizo nos vuelve a llevar atrás en el pasado. Un chico amable nos hace camino entre los callejones. Abre un gran portal de madera e indica nuestra habitación. Un chirrido de bienvenida y ahora ya no tenemos duda: el tiempo se ha detenido. Una cama alta vestida con sábanas de algodón bordadas a mano y mantas tejidas de lana burda. Una jarra de vidrio con agua fresca, la luz tenue de las velas, una ducha con agua que parece fluir de la roca, jabón artesanal y toallas de lino. Las paredes son de piedra, así como el suelo, y el resto del pueblo. Pero el aire es salubre, la habitación está caliente y perfumada. La tecnología está, pero estamos contentos que no se vea. Nos quedamos dormidos con la sensación de vivir ya en un sueño. Por la mañana volvemos a encontrar ese silencio placentero de la noche antes, se respira entre los callejones el olor a chimeneas.

El desayuno nos lo sirven en una tasca. Pequeñas mesas de madera, un hogar chisporroteante, sonrisas de los demás huéspedes que degustan mermeladas, miel, quesos, pan recién deshornado…un zumo de frutas casero nos lleva 25 años atrás y una tortillita de huevos frescos conforta el corazón y el alma.

Echamos dos charlas con un encargado que nos explica que el “hotel difundido” de Santo Stefano di Sessanio nace de una idea de Daniele Kihlgren. Situado a 1200 metros de altura e inmerso en el Parque nacional del Gran Sasso y de los Monti della Laga en Abruzzo, este pueblo era dominio feudal de la familia de’ Medici. Hasta hace algunos años era uno de los 2000 burgos italianos abandonados. Hoy este increíble patrimonio arquitectónico ha sido recuperado y está a salvo. La reestructuración ha sido lo más conservadora posible, se han vuelto a utilizar tejidos y objetos de

Mountains in Abruzzi, this village was a feudal domain of the de’ Medici family. Until some years ago, it was one of the 2000 abandoned hamlets in Italy. Today, thanks to reclamation and accommodating reallocation of the village, this architectural heritage is safe. Renovation was highly conservative, cloths and objects of the pastoral tradition were used, making aesthetic quality prevail on technology (the heating system runs below the floor, the bathtubs chosen have a minimal design). The objective of the creator is to extend this format up to Calabria Region.

Currently, there are two beautiful dispersed hotels in Santo Stefano di Sessanio and in Matera.

Among Islands, forests and white beaches headed to discover the “Land of Smiles”

Entre islas, selvas y playas blancas, descubriendo la “Tierra de las sonrisas”

The first information that bounces off the screen when you google Thailand, is that it is called by everybody “the land of smiles”. And we already start to consider it.

Caressed by the waters of the Indian and Pacific Oceans, bordering on Burma, Laos, Cambodia and Malaysia, it has a tropical climate. Eight thousand years of history, islands with wonderful white beaches and breathtaking ocean floors, forests where elephants live in freedom, endless rice plantations, lakes covered by lotus flowers and orchids and majestic and mystical Buddhist temples, should have already convinced us on booking a flight! The first stop over is usually its capital city, Bangkok.

Our visit is influenced by a totally European cliché that makes us imagine Bangkok as a disorganized and chaotic city, full of people wearing strange cone-shaped hats and eating noodles in the streets. Actually, Bangkok’s modernism is surprising for first-time visitors to Asia. From the ultra-modern Suvarnabhumi airport it is possible to catch the skytrain, an elevated railway to visit skyscrapers and megastores, surrounded by ultra-glamour youngsters who substituted cone-shaped hats with green or blue hair. Bangkok, which up to 2 centuries ago was a small fishermen’s village, today has 8 million inhabitants. Known as the “City of Angels” it is noisy, lively and impudent: the great modern buildings contrast the old dwellings and small stilt houses, chaotic traffic fades away in front of golden temples and solemnly silent monasteries.

For some relax, the number one destination is Phuket, the South Pearl. At 800 kilometers from the capital, you finally reach Phuket to discover white beaches, hills covered with thick tropical vegetation, turquoise waters and heavenly islands, amongst all Phi Phi Island. A daydream.

La primera noticia que salta a la vista “googleando” Tailandia es que todo el mundo la llama la “tierra de las sonrisas”. Y ya empezamos a pensárnolos en serio. Bañada por el Océano Índico y el Océano Pacífico y confinante con Birmania, Laos, Camboyia y Malesia, está caracterizada por un clima tropical. Ocho mil años de historia, islas de las magnificas playas blancas y fondos del mar impresionantes, selvas donde viven elefantes en libertad, inmensos cultivos de arroz, lagos cubiertos de flores de loto y orquídeas y templos budistas imponentes y místicos, ¡deberían habernos convencido ya a reservar un billete! Primera etapa para un viaje a Tailandia es normalmente su capital, Bangkok.

Lo que anticipa nuestra visita es un tópico todo europeo, que nos la hace imaginar como una ciudad desordenada y caótica, abarrotada de gente que lleva raros gorros en forma de cono y come noodles por la calle. En realidad el modernismo de Bangkok es asombroso para quien visita Asia por primera vez.

Del ultramoderno aeropuerto Suvarnabhumi es posible coger el skytrain, un ferrocarril sobreelevado, para visitar los rascacielos y los megastores, rodeados por chicos súper-glamour que han sustituido los gorros en forma de cono por el pelo verde o azul.

Bangkok, que hasta hace 2 siglos era una pequeña aldea de pescaderos, cuenta hoy con 8 millones de habitantes. Conocida como “Ciudad de los Ángeles” y ruidosa, alegre e impúdica: los grandes edificios modernos contrastan las viejas casas y los pequeños palafitos, el tráfico caótico se disuelve frente a los templos dorados y a los monasterios solemnemente silenciosos.

Fabio Fulco, el guapísimo actor italiano, con su naturalidad y encanto representa totalmente esta marca. Nacido en Nápoles y crecido en San Giuseppe Vesuviano, empieza su carrera como modelo fotográfico de fotonovelas. Debuta en el cine en 1998 con la película Donne in bianco, dirigido por Tonino Pulci. En 1999 forma parte del reparto de Un tè con Mussolini de Franco Zeffirelli.

Entre 1999 y 2008 actúa en la telenovela Vivere y en las ficciones de televisión Orgoglio, Incantesimo, Don Matteo 5, Gente di Mare 2, Crociera Vianello y muchas otras.
