Knowing that they need to carefully manage their time, the patrols make the best use of the days between weekend one and weekend two. The patrols are making great progress with meal and equipment planning for their Wood Badge Outdoor experience. They are also well on their way with planning their

patrol projects and beginning to execute on their plans. The patrols are communicating via email, phone and face to face to accomplish everything that needs to be completed before heading back up the hill for weekend number 2. The Staff is looking forward to sharing some delicious meals prepared by the patrols! Remember to plan for two additional people for each meal!

Patrol Updates Beaver

Beavers started out strong on Sunday by earning the highly coveted tokens for reciting the B’s song and chant, and finishing the Totem. The last

day of the week was bittersweet, as the B’s said goodbye to the short-term team up with the owls (christened the mighty bowels). The B’s were all tied up doing knots in the morning, as

they prepare for the activities of the next session.

Our bobwhite’s must have been so focused on their menu for next week they forgot to turn in their patrol report for day three. I will give them a pass since they invited me to eat a meal with them.. Obviously I am easily bought!!

The Mighty Bowel’s Movements: “The Game of Life” spawned the creation of Patrol “ The Mighty Bowels”. Newly elected upper intestine Stacy Hamblin (of the owls) along with lower intestine Lee Harrison, (Beavers) held tight to their ideals the whole game. They had a hard time convincing the other patrols to go with the flow, Butt (sic) in the end finally got some movement. The game of life was eventually flushed around 9 pm, leaving all participants exhausted with strain. (Editor’s note: This story was neither written nor endorsed by the Scribe or any of her entities..
