Welcome
In crafting our seasons, we search for a diverse selection of artists to cultivate a menagerie of experiences for audiences young, old, eager, nervous, familiar, and new. From famous faces of Broadway like Alan Cumming to celebrated pillars like Jeffrey Siegel, this season is packed with artists to satisfy your tastes and pique your curiosity.
Thank you all for your trust and support. We look FORWARD to seeing you this season!

Finally, our Scottsdale Civic Center renovations will wrap up in early 2023. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the whole community for bearing with us through this transformation, and we guarantee it will be worth the wait. In a few months, we will have two brand-new performance spaces for you to share with us—just the beginning of the fantastic changes to come!
As you reconnect with favorites this season, we challenge you to embrace the unexpected and unfamiliar. Dare to join us for an evening with an artist you know nothing about, or even an artform you’ve never contemplated, and be amazed at how quickly the dissonant becomes resonant and joy is found in finding new favorites. Through the past two years, we have learned how to safely present performances with COVID-19 protocols. We are currently planning a season that will not require protocols (unless artists specifically request). However, we continue to monitor health and safety issues in our community and may implement them if necessary to keep our audiences, artists, and staff safe.
We are delighted to present a preview of our 2022–23 Season at Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts!

We should take a moment to acknowledge the land on which we gather. We are on unceded and unsurrendered Indigenous homelands. We acknowledge the ancestors of the First Nations peoples of modern-day Arizona. The makeup of our current state is entirely shaped by these ancestors. In fact, the name “Arizona” comes from the word for “little spring” in the O’odham language. We also invest in the future of contemporary tribal members. As an arts and culture organization, it is our duty to uplift the artists and activists doing the work. We have been honored to have many visual artists and performers, representing numerous tribes, take part in Scottsdale Arts events and exhibitions through the years.
