BIOPHILIC DESIGN
Biophilic design is the incorporation of nature and natural elements into the ‘built’ environment. You’ve probably already felt the benefits of it without even realising. Today it can be found anywhere from offices and hotels to the interior design and external landscaping of people’s homes or public spaces. We work with businesses, architects and interior designers across the UK to bring biophilic benefits to the inhabitants of their buildings.
Biophilic design includes the use of natural light, finishes, colours, views, and even air quality and acoustics. But plants offer one of the quickest, easiest and most affordable ways to access the major benefits of biophilic design. Even the most subtle use of plants can have very positive effects on people’s wellness.

Our Nordik Moss wall at Beatlie Campus is more than just a beautiful piece of interior décor; it’s a symbol of the school’s dedication to creating a nurturing and inclusive environment where every pupil can thrive.
The new state-of-the-art campus in Craigshill provides specialist education for those aged three to eighteen with severe and complex support and profound medical needs.
Moss is a great natural sound absorber, making it the ideal solution for use in high-traffic areas prone to disruptive noise. They’re virtually maintenance free, meaning they sit perfectly on walls without the need to be watered or exposed to sunlight.

Perfect for classrooms, libraries, and communal spaces, they create a calming, focused atmosphere while being easily moveable to suit flexible layouts and changing needs.
