Christopher Scotney is the Midlands’ leading independent name in men’s formal hire. Our family owned business prides itself on offering an excellent suit selection and outstanding customer service.

Customers can rest assured we understand your wedding or important event is not a dress rehearsal and we will go the extra mile to ensure everything is perfect.

We offer an outstanding range of competitively priced contemporary and traditional suits featuring the finest quality fabrics and exquisite tailoring. Our carefully selected brands include Pal Zileri, Hugo Boss and Paul Smith. Our regularly updated collections include wedding wear, day wear, evening wear and prom suits. We are also able to supply Highland wear.

Experts in achieving a perfect fit, we offer suits from boy’s sizes to 54” chest in

a selection of lengths and fits. Our expert alteration tailor is onsite.

All our suits are owned and hired exclusively by us. We never supply suits to our customers on an agency basis. Each suit undergoes a rigorous quality control process and the suit you try on will be the actual suit we hire to you.

1. Begin With An Open Mind: You know your usual style, what you like and what you don’t like - but for a wedding suit it may be different. You’re not going to work or a party - this is your big day.

The best thing you can do is have an open mind. Look at lots of different shapes, styles and colours and don’t be scared to try something new before making your final choice.

4. Use Accessories Wisely: Waistcoats, ties and cravats allow you to truly personalise your look. Everyone does this differently and there are no wrong or right answers - choosing a supplier who offers plenty of choice widens your options.

2. Treat Yourself: Much emphasis is placed on the bride’s show stopping dress - remember this is the groom’s big day too.
