Edward Gregson’s Saxophone Concerto was commissioned by Nobuya Sugawa, and first performed on 10th May, 2006, as part of the Sonic Skylines festival, Manchester by Nobuya Sugawa (saxophone) and the BBC Philharmonic conducted by Clark Rundell.
