Orizzonte for piano and tape
Performance Directions 1. The tape part consists of a series of five consecutive sinewaves. The moments when these sinewaves change are indicated in the score. The locations of these changes are approximate, and serve only to give the performer a general idea of where he or she should be in the piece when a sinewave is changing. It is not necessary to use a click track or metronome when performing this piece. 2. Accidentals apply only to the notes they precede. 3. The left hand should be phrased in the same way as the right hand. 4. This piece should sound as if the performer is improvising, and should be played in a free and expressive manner.
