NSW/ACT President Division Report

The SCLAA NSW division has been busily working on various activities to provide value to its members. One of the most significant events planned by the association is the ASCLA Awards ceremony, which is scheduled to take place in November and being held in Sydney this year for the first time since 2019. The awards are aimed at recognizing and celebrating the outstanding contributions made by individuals and organizations in the field of supply chain logistics. The awards categories include innovation, leadership, excellence in logistics and supply chain management, and the environment.

Another major event that the association is organizing is the CEMAT Event, scheduled for July. The event aims to provide a platform for professionals in the field of supply chain logistics to network, share ideas and best practices, and learn about the latest trends and technologies in the industry.

NSW has also been working on providing more content for its members nationally. By partnering with DMS and Productivity Ninja, among others, to provide our members with access to high-quality content, tools, and resources that can help them improve their skills and knowledge in the field of supply chain logistics.

As always our regular Supply Chain at Mullane’s event has been going strong, providing members with a stop in and have a chin-wag social drink with a few nibblies before dinner. It’s a great chance to network and catch up with colleagues and counterparts alike to discuss what’s happening in the industry outside of our major events. This event is held every six weeks so keep a lookout for the next one.

Overall, The SCLAA NSW division has a massive year planned so stay tuned to further updates
