Join us at the Australian Forklift Championships powered by CeMAT Australia, where the best forklift operators across the nation will compete for prizes, recognition, and glory. The competition consists of three categories: Male 21+, Female 21+, and Junior. The journey begins with a self-assessment phase from February to May, allowing participants to showcase their skills within their workplaces. This phase will determine the competitors for the semi-finals, held in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, and Brisbane.
During the semi-finals, the top forklift drivers from each state will compete against each other, with judges assessing safety, knowledge, accuracy, and speed. The winners of the semi-finals will advance to the Australian Forklift Championships powered by CeMAT Australia final.
The grand finale will be held on the exhibition floor at CeMAT Australia 2023, taking place from July 25-27 at Sydney Olympic Park. The finalists will showcase their skills in two competition categories: counterbalance and reach truck. Winners in each category of the three events will receive a prize of $250, and the overall champion will earn the prestigious title of the firstever Australian Forklift Champion. In addition, they will be awarded the Bill Henman Trophy, gain industry publicity, and receive $1000 in prize money.
Registration is open to individuals and companies alike. By participating, you will not only have a chance to demonstrate your skills but also contribute to a meaningful cause. All registration proceeds will be donated to the CeMAT Australia Charity Partner, Healthy Heads in Trucks & Sheds.
