SciFest is a STEM fair programme celebrating student engagement in science, technology, engineering and maths. The aim of SciFest is to ensure every second-level student in Ireland irrespective of their ability, gender, background or circumstance has the opportunity to participate in a STEM fair thus lowering barriers and bringing the talents of diverse populations into the innovation pipeline. SciFest operates across the whole island of Ireland, throughout the entire school year and, being locally and regionally based and free-to-enter, it is highly inclusive and accessible. A SciFest STEM fair typically includes project exhibitions, judging, keynote speakers, an awards ceremony, and networking opportunities. In 2023 around 12,000 second-level students participated in SciFest. SciFest is affiliated to the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) and each year winners fron the National Final compete at ISEF. RCN 20081270
