Programme Overview • SciFest is a unique STEM fair programme for second-level students with a 17-year history of innovation and development. • SciFest fairs take place throughout the country and throughout the school year. • The programme is open to every student in every school in Ireland. • SciFest is local, regional, national and international.

Join as a champion of inclusion & diversity in STEM education • SciFest is free to enter and open to all second-level students • On average 60% of all SciFest participants are female • Disadvantaged and special schools are encouraged to take part in SciFest

Starting in first year, students can grow their skills in subsequent years at various levels of the programme

Currently, ten thousand students undertake over four thousand research projects annually

Teachers report increased engagement in the classroom – students are empowered to continue their journey
