FUSION BLACK-BOX AUDIO
World-leading marine entertainment manufacturer FUSION has released a compact black-box audio entertainment system – the MS-BB100. A fully featured powerhouse that includes FUSION-Link via NMEA 2000 control, Bluetooth audio streaming and Multi-Zone technology, it’s claimed to deliver the ultimate audio solution for space-conscious helms. The MS-BB100 offers true FUSION-Link ‘plug and play’ compatibility with the world’s leading multi-function displays, giving you easy-to-control audio playback. Featuring a shallow-mount case design, FUSION’s new MS-RA70 audio system delivers dynamic sound in a marinised space-saving chassis. The MS-RA70 allows independent control of balance and volume in two separate audio zones, with an additional line out and sub out linked to Zone 1 for the inclusion of an amplified speaker set or subwoofer. Users can stream music from compatible devices and the Bluetooth remote app allows you to browse music collections on compatible USB flash drives, as well as adjust the volume from a smartphone or tablet. The widescreen LCD display is optically bonded to eliminate the possibility of condensation or fogging and when mounted correctly, the front face is rated IPx7 waterproof – able to withstand the harshest marine environments. The MS-RA70 uses a composite glass-filled chassis to eliminate corrosion problems caused by dissimilar metals and can be installed conventionally on the 52
dash or integrated into a glass helm with a flush finish by removing the faceplate trims and recessing the mount.
